At the same time in Badlands

"You know what to do with it," the Tauren said with a deep voice. "Right?"

"Yes, you told me already. I am not the naive girl you knew you know."

"I know it too well, Adora." Lorne sighed, closed his eyes and shook his head. It was all he could do to not break down and cry for his seemingly lost childhood friend.

"Aw, do not be sad," the Night Elf said in a chilling tone. "I am still me, only improved."

The Tauren Warrior now seemed angry more than saddened. "How is having no feelings being improved?"

Adora frowned, but seconds later once again displayed the same unsettling grin she wore so often lately. "Were you followed?"

"No."

"Are you positive?"

"Of course I am... I said I was not followed."

"Very well, uncle. Hand it over, I will make sure all goes to plan."

Lorne hesitated for a second and then reached into his backpack he carried with him, pulling out something wrapped in silk cloth. He then holds it out at his old friend. Just as she was about to take it however, the Tauren closed his fist. Adora met Lornes eyes, tilted her head and peered askance at her furry partner.

"Do not fail me, Adora."

"Have I ever?"

A brief silence ensued but was broken before it became unbearable. "No, you have not." The Warrior opened his fist again, letting the ranger take the silk clad item.

"Now you need to be off, my dear Lorne, I expect company very soon and we don't want anyone to see you here do we?"

"You are correct."

Taking a deep breath, Lorne moved out of the daunting abode that his niece had chosen as her home. She really had changed, and not in a good way as she claimed. Lorne couldn't stop himself from thinking that somehow, someway, there must be a solution for her as well. He eventually shrugged thoughts like that away, mounted up and went on his way back to Thunder Bluff.

Emanee had finally found the town that Leaf had spoken of.

Thelsamar. Not many awake at this time of day... or night may perhaps describe it better.

No one met her there though, not straight away at least. She waited a few minutes and then decided to fish while she waited. Just as she cast the lure out she heard something moving in the bushes nearby. Instictively she turned into her cat form, ready to pounce at her enemy. What she saw however was not one who wished her harm, but instead a cat she recognized as no other than Shiri, Adora's newest and strongest companion.

Shiri immediatley recognized the Druid even in her animal form. Scents didn't change much between shapeshifts, at least not to an animal such as Shiri, who identifies all sorts of creatures by smell as much as they do by sight, if not more so by smell. The Hunter pet whimpered and dipped her head low.

The female Druid shifted back to her Night Elf self and smiled at the big cat. "Hi Shiri, long time no see, my furry friend." Emanee went down on one knee and beckoned the animal to come closer so that she might greet it properly. Shiri happily obliged and leapt out from the coppice directly into the Druids arms, purring and buffing her head against Emanee's hands as she patted her.

"Where's Adora? She told me to meet her here." The Night Elf's expression then grew dire. "Has something happened to her, Shiri?"

Shiri shook her head as she had been teached to do when giving a negative reply. She then turned her head south, dipped her head and let out a low growl from her throat.

"Lead the way, my feline queen." Emanee said, honoring and, when she herself turned into cat form to follow suit, even feeling a slight hint of envy of the animal's prowess as they ran across the grassy lands of Loch Modan.

Shiri led the Druid all the way to the place called Badlands, across an open area and passing a dig site. After that they steered up towards the mountain, and up it even. When they reached some kind of plateau, Emanee spotted Adora on top of a peak looking out over the open areas of the barren lands. Shiri walked up to her mistress who then in turn responded by gently stroking the cat's fur and patting her head while still gazing over the area.

"Shiri..." Adora said with a calm and indifferent tone, sending chills down the spine of the Night Elf Druid. The big cat went to the opening of what was obviously Adora's domicile of sorts.

As the Night Elf ranger decended the peak, the two friends exchanged courteous smiles.

"Hello Adora." Emanee started, breaking the silence. She then opened her arms and offered a hug. Adora accpeted the offer and they hugged.

"Greetings Emanee." Adora answered back. She closed her eyes, but just before she did, the Druid noticed that the Huntress' eyes was acting strange. When her eyes opened again however, no such sign was evident.

Perhaps just my mind playing tricks on me. And just like that Emanee thought no more of it.

"Not who I expected." The Huntress grinned. "But not an unpleasant surprise at all, I must admit."

"I have a package for you, from Leaf."

"Aha, so that is why you are here, that explains alot."

"She couldn't make it herself. Her parents seem to hold her quite a short leash still."

"Well, her mother is ill and the poor thing does have a heart." A laughter escaped Adora briefly, which she just as quickly throttled and regained posture. Instead she smirked ominously at the Druid, who then nodded in reply and then hurried to hand over the delivery, feeling not a little uneased.

The Night Elf ranger's countenance changed from apathetic, at best, to blissful awe as she removed the bandage and beheld the creation.

"Excellent... amazing."

"Beautiful isn't it?"

"Yes yes." Adora said quickly, waving away the question as if it was nothing than a mere bug annoying her. "Excuse me for a few minutes, dear. You may pat Shiri while you wait, will not take long I assure you."

The Huntress walked down into the crypt, letting her hand run along the head and then back of her trusted pet, making the big cat purr, even if only for a second or two. Well down in the main living area, Adora glanced back to make sure she wasn't followed and then opened the shrine. She then went to her backpack placed in a corner of the room, took out a piece of silk cloth and unfolded it. Before her now lay the eye, the talk of the town, the latest in gossip among those that knew much. And because the growing numbers of those, she now had it in her posession, she had been put to the task to decimate the numbers, perhaps even singularize them.

Adora took the eye, peered at it closely and then shrugged. She placed it inside a small compartment on the inside of the amazing handicraft that was just delivered to her. When Adora had made sure no trace of the hidden compartment could be revealed, she turned to face the exit.

"Shiri! Escort our guest down."

After a few scant seconds the cat came walking down the steps with the Druid in tow. Shiri then settled beside Adora, by the fire, laying down on the spot. The second thing Emanee noticed, the first being Adora of course, was that the room was stripped of any conveniences, such as bed, table and chairs. What also was pretty hard to not notice was the many corpses and skeletons that were scattered around the room, all were empty husks of what they used to be. A chill went through the Druids body once again.
The two Night Elves exchanged smiles.

"Now... you are expected, my friend"

Emanee peered questioningly at her friend, not really sure what she meant.

"Here... it was made for you all along." Adora held out the shrine at the Druid.

"... the box?" Emanee asked, still a bit confused as to what is happening. As a result she seemed, in the eyes of the Huntress, to not want it at first.

"You do not like it?"

"Sorry, sometimes my understandings of Darnassian is appaling... and as for the box, I... love it!"

"I see." Yet again an ominous smirk branded Adora's face as Emanee graciously took the box from her hands and opened it, jubilating in delight as the music played. "I am glad that you like it, my dear."

"It's so... nice. But for me, why?"

"Why not? You like it, then you shall have it."

Some moments passed as they both gazed upon the creation, though Adora seemed more interested in the Druid, glancing up at her face and then smiling slightly.

"Oh, how rude of me. I forgot to introduce you to my dear old father."

"Father?"

"Yes, I have... had, one too you know." Adora walked silently up to a highseat placed in the built-in square area in the northernmost wall. In the highseat was placed one of the many corpses, all seemingly mumified or simply skeletons. This one was of the former kind. It being seated giving it a even more dreadful aura.

The Huntress, leapt up to a sitting position on the armrest and tapped the dead Kaldorei's helmet. "Say hello to my friend, father dear." She then let out a manic cackle, giving Emanee a good fright. Adora noticed her friends expression. "I do apologize, Emanee, I am not used to company other than what I have here and my dearest Shiri."

The other Night Elf smiled and nodded slightly. "I Understand. But I'm afraid I will have to leave you still, I am wanted elsewhere."

"Duly noted."

Emanee again offered a hug and Adora was not about to decline her. It lasted a bit longer this time, as usual when it came to parting.
Again the eyes of the Night Elf ranger flickered and she closed her eyes to hide it from her Druid friend, albeit to late. Emanee simply smiled though.

Perhaps she doesn't realise, still it bothers me much... why am I so weak now.

"See you around." The Kaldorei that came as a guest waved goodbye to her host.

"Yes, until then."

Behind Emanee the big cat whimpered, nudging her head against the Druid's leg, who then scratched Shiri behind the ear making her purr loudly. Emanee then called on Cenarius' teachings to take her to Moonglade.

Aioo walks the central part of Orgrimmar, trying to make money for the living.

An undead comes up to her. He looks at her with narrow eyes. "Can I see you items" he ass politely but with a sleazy voice.

Aioo nods and shows him the box with seven eyes inside. A"Dont ask me where they came from, but yes, they are blood elv eyes all of them. All preserved in Darnassus Gin"

The undead rogue shows his black teeth with the wicked smile. "I like this one" and points at one eye. Here is one gold.

Aioo takes out the eye and gives it to the undead.

In a cave up in the Wetland mountains, a mage is patiently waiting. As time passes, he concentrates on the fireballs hanging in the middle of the air. Nice trick, but quite useless, he thinks.

If you play with fire, you may get burned... a cold voice echoes in the cave.

The mage turns to the rogue and smiles.

You are telling that to me or to yourself?

Coming up with a sense of humor, I see, says the rogue and touches a fireball. It blows up, without any harm at all.
What goes?

The artifact has been removed from Vainia, and information places it in Tauren hands. Vainia seems to be cured and Huor is said to be back to the Theater.Things seem to be back to normal.

They seem, don't they? Then why is he... why am I being constantly bothered about this? The rogue scratches his beard.
Let Nattal know I will need her for this. Very soon...

Her healing abilities aren't worth much. She seems to be more keen on destro...

I don't care how good she is. It doesn't matter anyway. Her intervention is all I need.

I understand. When?

As soon as all pawns are in place. Till then, I'll stay in the shadows. You know when and where to meet me next.
The rogue quickly vanishes and the mage bows his head slightly.

I do...I do...

Emanee sat on the stairs to Stormwind bank, she giggled gleefully as she looked at the musical box in her hand, it was so intricate and sweet. She smiled as she lifted the lid and the almost hypnotic music began to play.

"My Emanee what a beautiful music box" came a voice

Emanee looked up to see Gemanea- an elderly priestess with a large bundle of some vaugely recognisable herb.

"You think so too? Leaf made it for Adora, but she seemed to want me to have it" Emanee replied smiling. "It's so special, I can't believe its mine..."

Gemanea looked at the young druid, Emanee was clearly over excited by an unexpected gift.

"I've brought you the herbs you requested" Gemanea started. "They were quite hard to get hold of... tell me how is your friend.... Quelor was it?"

He's fin.... well he's not doing too badly Emanee responded. The wound is quite infected, seems ... the attacker used a few types of poison on the weapon, so the healing is slower than I would like.

Gemanea nodded at the druid, and offered over the bundle of herbs, Emanee took them exchanging the herbs for a small amount of gold.

Anyways I better get back to tend to him in Moonglade, I don't really like leaving him alone for too long... I know Moonglade should be safe.... but you know...."

Gemanea nodded, and the two went their seperate ways.

Orgrimmar, ring of valor, one of the holding pens.

So, they got me allright. Adra murmered as he walked up and down his cell.

Adra had been in hiding in Tranquillien for a while, and after he met Quintilius and ordin, who both did not feel like bringing him in, he decided to hide somehwere else. Now, with his memory back, He decided to stay with galvan the ancient for a while, and together they made a whole new set of armour including a nice small mace. Adra added his own shield to this and hid the package in Galvan's shack.

Then, later that day, he heard the subtle tread of a raptor. Gharshag had found him. There wasn't much point to resisting arrest, and, above all, he didn't feel like to.

So, here he was now, in a cell, guarded by people who used to be his friends, but instead turned against him on the simple command of a woman who had been corrupted. How ironic.

Everything is going as planned, he thought to himself.
Súrion's infiltration back into the Theatre had been a success, everyone beleived that Húör was now back for good.
At first, there was doubt, and questions were asked, but he managed to work his way around these eventually, with lies and false directions, and now?
Now he was free to use the Theatre's power for his own purposes.
His first act was to brand the Paladin, Adra, as a traitor to the Theatre, claiming that it was Adra who attacked he, obviously corrupted by the Eye.

He heard the whispers in the Guild Hall, and he felt the glances directed towards him, his superiors for unknown reasons had helped to die down the questions, probably under orders from the Mistress Druella herself, who had taken an odd interest in the events. Those below him who spoke up, he quickly silenced with a harsh word or a flash of his blade.

But there was still one last thing that needed to be taken care of... Adra.
Gharshag, one of the finest Troll Hunters in Azeroth had tracked and captured the Paladin under orders from Druella.
Súrion was nervous. Since his capture, what had the Paladin told them of their last encounter in Blackrock Mountain?
He was a threat, if he revealed that only a week before, Súrion was still in control, the questions would begin again, and jeaprodise everything.

Súrion watched from the shadows as Adra tugged at the bars in his makeshift cell, before giving up again and sitting down on the floor.

"Hello Adra..."

The Paladin jumped to his feet, glaring around the room, catching the figure of the scarred Sin'Dorei sitting in the half light by a brazier outside his cage.

"YOU! Súrion!"

"Of course! I've come to finish what I started, little Adra!", he smirked as he searched his pack for the key to the cell.

"I'm warning you, if you come in here you'll get my upper right! I've been in training since last time!"

Súrion cackled, and lifted the key from his pouch, "Well let us put it to the test, shall we?", he slid the key into the lock.

Suddenly a gruff voice spoke up from behind, "What do you think you're doing, Húör?".
The Elf turned to meet the hulking Tauren.
"Bad timing, Liontooth."
From behind him, the insane Elf heard shouts, "It's not Húör, it's Súrion!"
Liontooth looked on knowingly, his massive hand on the handle of his weapon.

Staring at Liontooth, and glancing over his shoulder to Adra, he cursed and spoke up, "I'll be back, Adra!"
Súrion threw the handful of powder he had clenched in his hand onto the floor, causing a small explosion and puff of smoke, when the room cleared, he was gone.

Súrion crept through the city, his nerves on edge.
"Damn! What was he doing there?! The Theatre cannot know I was there..."
An explosion was heard from back at the holding cell...

Spirits, voodoo, blood and regret.

Now a breakout.

The staff twirled in a shifting blur, missing the apprentice by a hair's breadth with each strike.

Treachery. Scheming. Trollkin and Sin'dorei. Plotters.

With a sharp crack, the recruit dropped, struck dead, as the huge orc swung back to enguard.

"Slow... tsk... slow."

He reached for a towel.

"Where do they find us these kids, Carruthers? Me, I never uner'stann."

Opathu scooped a handful of ash from the cold brazier, and threw it over his face and arms. The giant figure disappeared in a cloud of grey, slapping at his naked body as he shifted into cha'wukka, the Darkspear's Dance of the Dead. He saluted his felled opponent, then strode off into the cloisters.

"Time it is, mate. Time it is. Time to call time. Gather up the crew. The boss lady calls."

PostSubject: Re: The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar   The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar - Page 4 EmptySun May 04, 2008 6:58 am

Húör sat in the Guild Hall, surrounded by his brothers and sisters from the Theatre.

He always sat alone on the far side of the room, in the dark corners, his cowl pulled down over his face, over his scars.

He rarely lifted his head to join in conversation, and as far as the others were concerned, he sat im slumber.

Little did they know, that for some time now, the foul being posing as Húör had been having a little trouble of his own, deep within himself.

"You're nervous. You're afraid of gettin' caught. Not the mighty Súrion! Ah, they'd tear you apart if they knew who was REALLY sittin' here! Hahaha!"

"Shut up!"

"You silly bugger... got too much on your plate now, don't ya?! DON'T YA?!"

"Keep taunting, fool. It won't be long now, and when I get it... I WILL get it, Húör... you won't be so damn cocky!"

"Hahahaha!"

"SILENCE!!!"

"Hahahaha!"

"You insufferable fool!! You think you are safe hiding in there but I warn you I can find ways to cause you great pain, EVEN THERE!! I will make your last moments excrutiating before I finally get rid of you once and for all!!!!"

"HAHAHAHA!!!! Self harming, Súrion?! It don't suit ya'!"

"What did you say?"

"You're own words, fella. You think I was gonna' sit this out, did ya'? Silly bugger..."

"You don't have the power to defeat me!"

"YOU BLOODY IDIOT!! Comin' back here and thinkin' you was the boss, eh?! I've got news for you you stupid ignorant wretch, I learnt a few tricks myself over the years, with your helpful shove o' course..."

"What are you talking about?"

"HAHAHAHA!!! Who do ya' think got you into this mess? Ohhh... wait... you thought this were all you?! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"

Húör jerked upright, attracting a few odd glances from those present in the room.

"Let me tell ya' a story, mate...
One time, there were this fella', got himself messed up pretty badly, his face hacked up into bits, nasty business...
Now this fella' had an old old friend, mean bastard, real mean... who liked to stop round from time to time. It weren't good for business, this friend' comin' around and messin' with everythin' our fella' had planned, not good for business at all.
So after this fella' got himself into that spot o' bother, once again his old friend came a knockin', lookin' to stir up trouble again, throwin' his weight around n' all...
The fella' decided to himself, right then and there, that this were gonna' be the last time, he was gonna' fix it all for good, but therein lay his problem.
His friend were strong, when 'e felt like callin', there weren't much the fella' could do about it, so the fella sat back, he played it soft, backed down and played the wimp, and let 'im out to play, maybe poppin' in from time to time to stay 'is old friends hand if 'e was goin' too far...

"You're...

"SHUT UP!!!! I'm tellin' a story...
So 'e let's 'is friend get 'imself into a little spot o' bother, maybe even a little bit more than 'e can handle right? He just sits back and waits, and he waits.
And finally 'is old friend has gotten himself into so much trouble, that he don't know what to do anymore, 'is head is messed up, right? Thoughts goin' this way and that, 'e was proper nervous, scared even.

And when 'e thought the time was just about right, the fella' came back, all better, see? Got himself organised, and went to find 'is friend, and just when he were at his weakest, 'e got what was comin' to him, haha, he got it good!"

Húör remained sitting upright, stiff as a board.

"Aye... you helped me, Súrion, you sure did... but you just don't fit, fella'... like I were sayin'... I do have friends now, and I aint' a child anymore, I learned a lot from you, but I learned more on me' own... and you seriously misunderestimated me by thinkin' I'd gone soft... nah, fella, I'm stronger than I've ever been... you screw with my business, and I screw with you..."

Húör stared straight ahead, his mouth hanging open and the oddest look of both fear and confusion spread across his face.

-Tirisfall. -

Adra had been wandering about, waiting as Liontooth had said him to do. Watching some crusaders getting slain by forsaken here, and vica versa over there. He needed to do something, he wanted to do something... but that corrupted Druella and her might over the theatre made it all as good as impossible. So, now he was wandering, awaiting Liontooths call, that it was time.

A short goblin appears at the Undercity's entrance.

Ya!Yeah, ya, ya tall white dead fella!,he said with an irritatingly high-pitched voice. I'm talkin' ta ya! Me gots a letta fer da guy ya call Qullin...Nitqull...Tinqullius!Ya eva heard o' him?Ya know him?Ya know where I can find him?I got a...

Quintillius isn't here, the gate guard disrupted the goblin's stammering obviously annoyed. Drop it at the mailbox over there, and he'll pick it when he arrives, and he nodded towards a wooden, rotting mailbox.

Ok, but if he don't take da letta, bad things will happen to ya!To ya and yer family! And yer friends! And their friends! And their friends' friends!Ya know what I mean?Do ya?You do, do ya?, answered the goblin and dropped the letter in the mailbox. The guard yawned tiredly as the goblin left, muttering about bad things for everyone in the vicinity, or out of it...

The letter wrote, in a fine, distinct hand:

Q.
Usually, I find it hard to agree with Forsaken. But in this case it is an exception. The item so much has happened around it.I want it destroyed. Not just because V. is my friend. There are necessities as well, much above friendships.Be ware. Many crave power, any kind of it.Some of my side, some of yours.Trust noone, and don't try anything foolish.Corruption may come from little things, but can destroy worlds. This one time, you may have an ally when you don't know it.Stay alive. Many sides noone knows of are in this. You'll hear from me soon.

PostSubject: Re: The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar   The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar - Page 4 EmptySun May 04, 2008 7:01 am

Quintilius was sitting behind his desk in his office in the Theatre guild hall shuffling through papers as there was a knock on the door. A Sin'Dorei woman sculpted out of pure beauty entered and Attitude filled up the room.

"I picked up your letters Mr.Boss," She was twirling a lock of her blonde hair around her finger and chewing vigourously at something.
"Ah, thank you Sindy," Quintilius said at her rather unashamed cleaveage.
"I sorted the envelopes after size,"
"Ah, lovely..er.. why?"
"Well, as I figured, size matters.. " Quinitlius stared blankly at her. She smiled.
"Great. That will be all Sindy."

The smell of peach lingered in the room long after she left. Quinitlius worked his way through his mail.
"hm.. bills.. enlarge your..hms.. trolls and their silly voodoo.. invitation to Rogers Emporium of Dead Pleasures? great.. ah..whats this then? Ah.. nice writing.. must be from a girl!" Quintilius grinned as he opnened Noctus' letter.

Quintilius arched a brow. "N.N? who the heck is N.N?" Quintilius bit off a corner of the letter and chewed on it thoughtfully. "hm.. Night elf...trace of deathweed? rogue.. hm.. talkin 'bout the eye.. friend of V? Vainia? An exile? hms.. An exile rogue.. maybe a woman.. " Quintilius scratched his chin.

"Sindy!!"
"Yes Mr. Boss?"
"Cancel all tonights business appointments!"
"You have none Mr. Boss, as allways"

*Hecter recieves a letter from Huor*

Greywolves and evil in the same sentance? Hm, I don't find it that believable, but I'll drop by in anycase and see what's going on here... Haven't had a good fight in a while, no matter which side I'm on.

Húör had finished penning his final letters, holding the pages in front of him, scanning over the texts filled with all manner of diabolical lies, and allowed himself a wicked grin.

That should so it, he thought. What did he, HE who currently resided there, care about who was lied to, or who was hurt along the way. If he had them by his side when he needed them, to be dealt with later of course, nothing could go wrong. Nothing.

The Eye was coming back where it belonged, everything was in motion.

Quin was yet again situated behind his desk shuffling papers...

"Sindy!"
"Sir?"

Quin jumped at the very unexpected gruff voice.

"Who the heck are you? Where's Sindy?"
"Sindy got fired Sir, I'm Roger, her replacement." The impressingly fat forsaken grinned stupidly.
"Fired? Why the heck for? By who?"
"By Teeboppity, Sir. Apparently Sindy didn't say 'bless you' when Teeboppity sneezed.."
"What? What the heck is that for a reason to be fired?"
Roger shrugged.

"Right. Do you have any experience with thro..filing documents?"
"No, Sir. Never worked in an office before, Sir, its quite grande.."
"Gnn, how did you even get hired??"
"By being dragged in from the street by Teeboppity and threatened on my existence to work for ya.. she was mumblin sumfin bout givin ya sumfin to look at.. " Roger picked up a caterpillar making its way out of his half decomposed chest and startet nibbling happily on it. Quin made a face.

"Oh, 'ere's a letter for ya.. " Roger casually threw a crumpled letter to Quin, who read it, grin widening the further he read.

"So... Things are finally gettin somewhere, eh? Ritual, eh? Goody.. Si.. Roger! Find out where me boys are hidin out nowadays.. Time ta gather the Crew!"
"Right ya are, Sir! er.. Who am I lookin for?"
"Gn.. Nevermind.. I'll go get em myself.. "

*Thunder Bluff - The night before *

Liontooth sat at the usual spot near the pond at the bottom rise....his head spinning with thoughts. One of these was of the cleansing ritual he came across in moonglade.

"This is sure to work...but i need at least 3 more to complete the ritual...i can't involve the tribe in this."

it was shortly after this that none other than Hinun the new tribal leader showed herself asking Liontooth what was on his mind. Liontooth explained everything..from start to finish.

'Well i think its for the good of everyone that the tribe helps...but you do owe the tribe an explaination after'

Liontooth couldn't argue....the tribe would get involved it seemed. As he made his way home the only thing on his mind was determination to get rid of this taint.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Thunder Bluff - The morning of the ritual day. *

Liontooth sat with his wife Thanora who, thanks to the tribal healers, had made a full recovery.

'So dear...when will this finally end?' she said
'Tonight...it all ends tonight.'
'well thats good...and what about that theatre member that was after you.'
'i dunno...if there was an arrest warrent...they certainly aren't trying hard enough.' Liontooth grinned
'dear...is there ever a time where you don't get in trouble?'
'guess not...'

after more idle chat it was time to prepare for the ritual.

'the tribe is behind me....i can't lose... '
'i know dear....i will wait for you. '

after giving eachother a kiss and a hug farewell Liontooth headed home to get ready. Liontooth placed on his armour and payed a visit to moonglade to learn the final steps he needed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Dire Maul *

Liontooth made his way the the arena killing any ogre that dared get in his way. there at the arena Lorne and the gnome rogue leaf was waiting already along with the paladin Adra.

Liontooth yelled: 'Hey Adra up for some ogre extermination?'
'Liontooth?....is that you?'
'it sure is!'

Liontooth jumped into the arena to greet his allies in the clensing

'huh....who brought the gnome?'
'oh..thats leaf...its fine she is on our side '

it was shortly after this Teeboppity and Subliminal from the theatre jumped down in the middle of the meet up.

'Liontooth i need to speak with you in private.' Subliminal said

after walking out of ear shot the two began to speak.

'what is it now...i have no time to worry about the theatre right now!'
'no...i seem to have made a mistake. there is no arrest warrent for you...i was lied to.'
'so noone is after me.....great you have no idea how relieved that makes me...thank you'

the two parted ways for now and more and more of the greywolves began to show up.

'ok i need three to help me with this ritual...those three will need to be knowledgeable in nature and or the spirits. '

Deras, Boh and Silver decided to aid the ritual. while the others stood guard in case of intruders. Adra and Archnazg also came to lend their aid.

'looks like we have company.' a voice in the back of Liontooths head said.

He looked around to see a group coming towards them. it seemed this group for some reason had been told lies and was determined to stop the clensing.

after the group walked back to the other side of the arena Liontooth thought "great looks like this isn't going to be easy...i can't fight and do the ritual at the same time"

it was at this time Liontooth felt a rock hit him on the head.

'Ouch..what the!'

shortly after a loud noise...like rumbling thunder was heard echoing throughout the ruins.

'Whats going on now...' Liontooth looked up at to amazement saw a large group of alliance jump down with their mounts onto the arena floor. The tabards where recognised straight away....the Ravencrest Wardens.

A large smile showed itself on Liontooths face...the numbers where in the favour of those wishing to cleanse the eye but this feeling of relief was short lived as Huor yelled out and the other group began to charge.

The ravencrest and other allies charged back in a battle like no other.

right everyone now or never lets start this!

a strength flowed through the clensing group that caused natures power to show itself. it was finally over the eye was clensed.

Liontooth looked down at the eye and with a massive stomp crushed it.

PostSubject: Re: The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar   The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar - Page 4 EmptySun May 04, 2008 7:10 am

Sunday Afternoon. Nethergarde Keep.

The meeting went on as usual, dispite the fact of the dead elf in the basement, and things went smoothly. Noctus stood in one corner with a serious look on his face, something was clearly bothering him.

"Alright people, that does it for today! Get some rest, its been a hard week." Aryn and the Captains saluted and the troops did so in return, many sat down and started freindly chatting while others headed for the door.

"Wait.." Noctus said. "Have you heard about The Eye yet?".

Many shook their heads, while some nodded. And the rogue began explaining.

It wasnt until after he mention the Greywolfs doing the clensing that the wardens became really intrested, the desision was quick when they heard that Huor would be bringing freinds to bring harm to them. Elfs, Men, Gnomes, Dwarfs and Dreanei grabbed their weapons and ran towards the stables.

Sunday Evening. Dire maul.

They gathered up outside the ruins and formed up. "Hold your fire, and follow me. Lets get this straight before the battle begins! Look for our Tauren freinds and make a stand there." The female elf shouted through the facemask, and the group ran towards the Arena.

They formed up infront of the Tauren, With Rotarr Hammerfall, Captain and a Bishop, in the front.
"Easy now lad's and lasses.. wait for' me order."

There was a shout, Rotarr nodded and Aryn shouted something. And the the dust began to rise as the group rushed towards the enemy.

PostSubject: Re: The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar   The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar - Page 4 EmptySun May 04, 2008 7:44 am

Broken Commons.
How much blood had been split here over the centuries?
The Sun peered out over the horizon, hanging in place, as if it didn't want to miss the battle which was about to take place on this sacred ground, casting an eery red glow over the arena.
The stoney faced combatants, geared out in their finest armour and weapons, stared each other down in in deadly silence.
Even the animals and ogres which usually resided in this place had temporarily taken shelter elsewhere, the sense of a presence dark and sinister had caused them to flee in fear.

On one side, stood the Tauren and their allies, quietly preparing their ritual around the tiniest item wrapped in cloth.
On another, stood Húör and his "accomplices", those he had lured there through tricks and lies, sharpening their blades in quiet contemplation of what was about to unfold.
Opposite them a Forsaken Warrior started directly ahead, thinking back on the events which had led them all here. Behind him, his companions also prepared themselves for battle, securing the straps of their harness' and checking the balance of their weapons.

Far above the arena floor, guards both Horde and Alliance patrolled the area, united, this one time, to see an end to that which had plagued them all for so long.
With all this activity going on, amazingly, the silence was deafening.

*Earlier in Undercity... *

Húör rounded the corner and caught sight of the three figures in front of him.
Quintilius, with the ever recognisable grin on his face, Teeboppity, looking stern, and... a human,
Morgalyen.
"She came to see you, mate!"
"Is that right..."
"Yep!" Quintilius beamed.

Húör peered at Morgalyen, clearly he had made an impression at their last encounter amidst the conflict.
Walking to her side, she smiled and held out a hand to welcome him.
Teeboppity eyed Húör up and down, "I don't know why... if I was her I'd be long gone"

Húör shot a glare at Teeboppity, which was noticed by Quintilius but shrugged off.
"Well, mate?!"
Húör bowed before Morgalyen, smirking.
"Lady..."
Morgalyen curtsied before him, and the two exchanged looks for a moment, before they were interrupted again by Teeboppity's sharp tongue.
"Are you going to beat on her like you did me?"
"I apologised for that!"
"And that makes it all better? You can't be trusted, Húör!"
"Where in the hells this coming from?"
"You know... I see through you, even if Quintilius can't"

Húör clenched his teeth, staring her down.

"Quin, best let this one know her place..."
"What? Listen you two... stop fighting. Now, Húör.."
Tee interrupted, "That's not Húör!"

He had heard the rumours in the Guildhall, people had their suspicions, some more than others. Only now had Teeboppity chosen to make hers known, much to Húör's annoyance. He was so close to getting back The Eye, his Eye, with the Theatre at his side, but his anger got the better of him.

"What? Right... You best shut up, or I'll shut you up. Again." he snarled.
"What did you say Húör?! Don't go there, we've been that way before!" said Quintilius with a look of shock on his face.
"I told you, Quin! That's not him! It's not Húör!"
"Mouthy little..." Húör stepped forward, his hand on the hilt of his blade, Quintilius stepping between the two, Húör's odd behaviour recently and sudden outburst planting ideas in his head.
"Húör, what's wrong with you?"

Húör's anger boiled over, the tension and nerves of the past weeks finally caught up to him, "BAH! I'm tired of this!"
Morgalyen, who didn't quite understand what was being said, stepped forward to calm Húör, who met her with a vicious snarl.
"Get the hell away from me... all of you."
"Húör! You're acting like you did when you lost your sanity!", Quintilius voice shook, his skeletal fingers gripped tightly at the hilt of his huge sword.

"HAHAHA! Idiot... I never lost it. I am as I have always been! No more games! I know what you've been planning, and I warn you, stay away tonight, if I see you there I'll make sure it's the last time! We wouldn't want to upset poor little Húör, would we!"

"SURION!" Quintilius yelled, leaping forwards.
Húör threw the powder clenched in his hands at their feet, and vanished in a puff of smoke.

Echoing through the Undercity, his voice could still be heard.
"I must say though, I am most grateful, most grateful for your help! Had you fools not let me back in, I would never have been able to find out where it was! Bravo! Bravo!"

With that he was gone, leaving the three alone once again.

*Back at Dire Maul... *

The Tauren added their finishing touches, and were preparing to start. A number of the Greywolves and their allies had turned up to defend from whoever would attempt to disrupt the ritual.

Húör broke his gaze with Quintilius far across the arena, and turned to his own.
"Right... we do this now!", his accomplices raised their weapons, but in their minds, doubt continued to rise. Things which he had told them didn't add up, the Greywolves sought to take the magic for themselves? Then why had so many turned out to defend? Their thoughts were broken by the sound of thunder...

Like a waterfall, figures began to pour from high above the arena. The very earth shook, and the air filled with dust kicked up by the commotion. Húör, his weapons in hand, peered through the cloud of dust, trying to catch sight of whatever had broken the pre-battle silence. One thing he knew for certain, it was caused by mounts. Many, many mounts. An entire army.

As the air cleared, he looked upon the force which stood between him and his prize.
In front of him, the forces of the Ravencrest Wardens, decked out for battle, surrounded the Greywolves in an impenetrable wall of muscle. An entire regiment of the Wardens finest, a sombre look on their faces, having recently heard the news of the death of one of their own. But it was clear, the completion of this ritual was too important to ignore, and they had held strong despite their loss.
At their front, he saw The Exiles, Vainia, her who cut the eye from his head, and brought about the foul corruptness that had started it all, at her side, the fearsome Noctus.

"DAMN! DAMN THEM!" Húör cried out, his face stricken with panic.
"YOU TRY TO KEEP FROM ME WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY MINE! I WILL HAVE IT!"
Spinning around, he yelled to his own, "WE FIGHT!"

The two forces, one led by the insane Húör, the other by the stalwart Quintilius, clashed in the middle of the arena.
From his position, half in reality and half in shadow, a trait taught to those who took up the art of the rogue, Húör sprang forward. His target, the Forsaken Priest, Swampfae. Throwing his arm around her, he pulled her back while simultaneously driving his dagger deep into her back. While anyone lesser would have fell, she was stronger than she looked, with a scream of pain she managed to let loose a spell onto him, which burned at his flesh. He cried out, and leapt back into his shadowy haven between light and darkness.

Blood splattered over the dusty arena floor, as the two groups locked in a vicious frenzy.
Friends fought against friends, as they locked weapons and pulled each other close, they looked into one anothers eyes and wondered why they were fighting, who was telling the truth and who was lying, but they were too far in now, to throw down their weapons would mean certain death, so the fought on.

Húör circled out in a wide arc and came back in to the fray, his target this time was the Paladin Adra, who he had failed to finish off previously. Again, he leapt from the shadows, his blow aimed at a weak point in the Paladins armour, when he heard the thunder once more.
In the corner of his one good eye, he caught sight of a black mass descending on the warriors, and was sent sprawling backwards as a huge mount smashed into his side.
The Ravencrest Wardens ploughed through them all, not selective of their targets, those who came to defend and those who sought to take for themselves.
Húör rolled onto his back, in time to see a figure standing above, and the blow coming towards him.

Húör opened his eyes. Everything had gone silent again. Groggily, he started to pull himself to his feet, brushing the dust and blood from his face.
As he looked up, he saw that he was surrounded. The Ritual has been completed, the fight had ended. Tauren, Night Elves, Humans, Forsaken, Sin' Dorei, Dwarves, Orcs and Gnomes, all stood side by side, in a wide circle, each of their gazes set directly on him. At the front, stood Quintilius.

"Húör? Surion? It's over."
Húör sneered at the crowd around him, the look of hope on Quintilius dropped away, and he sighed heavily.
"Húör..." Húör spat on the ground, "I told you, Húör is DEAD! He's DEAD! Your friend is D...."
Húör paused, his sneer changing to an odd mix of bewilderment and surprise, with a half grin...
"Ahhh SHUT UP SURION!! You whinin' spoilt stinkin' little @%@*n' prick!!" he said, to himself!

The crowd gasped, some tilted their heads and others allowed their mouths to fall open as they watched what happened next.

"Ello fella's!!" said Húör, a wide toothy grin spreading rapidly, he looked to Quintilius and laughed.
"QUINNY!! Long time, mate!!"

Quintilius stammered his words, not quite sure what to make of what was happening.
"H...Yo.... Húör?"

"Course' it's Húö... I mean Course' it's me!", he winked.

PostSubject: Re: The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar   The Eye - a story of Huor Elesar - Page 4 EmptySun May 04, 2008 7:46 am

"Húör is that really you?" Quintilius stepped forward, suddenly a dagger flashed in Húör's hand, aimed for Quintilius, at the last minute the arm seemed to seize up. Quintilius jumped backwards.

"BACK OFF!! ALL OF YOU!!", Húör stumbled backwards, those behind him clearing the way, his quivering arm outstreched, pointing the dagger at any who made the slightest move.

"Didn't I tell you ta' SHUT UP SURION??!!"

Murmurs started among the crowd, they whispered to one another. Someone yelled from the back, "Yeah! Fight him Húör!"
Quintilius quickly glanced in the direction of the voice, and then over his shoulder as another voice shouted out beside him, "FIGHT HIM!"
The noise in the crowd began to surge up, as more and more started to yell and cheer.

"You dirty bastard, this is MY body! I swear it, I'm taking Húör down with me!!", the crowd went silent again, some gasped, as Húör's body went rigid and dropped to the ground, kicking violently.

"You can do it, Húör, FIGHT HIM!", Quintilius yelled, punching his hand into the air, "FIGHT!"

The body stopped moving, and fell limp. Noone moved, noone spoke, and everyone watched.
In his head, Húör battled with his own personal demons, things from his past, every painful memory and wrong done onto him, everything that formed him known as Surion. The crowd watched...

"Bloody hell... Never seen so much hair in one place..." Húör was looking up from the ground at the large number of Tauren grouped together, and let out a chuckle.
Hopping up to his feet, his eyes were different now. They had changed, even from when he had first arrived in the area, and joined with the Theatre of Cruelty. He had faced his demons down, gone head to head with them, in a battleground of HIS choosing, when they were at their weakest, and he was at his strongest.
There was nothing quite like seeing your friends rally to your side, no matter how grave your previous deeds might have been, to help a person see their true worth. He was free.

"Húör? Is that really you? I mean... er.... really, really you, this time?" Quintilius looked at him, the hope back on his face.

"Errr.... aye!!"
Behind his back, the Paladin Adra, bitter from their encounter in the mountains, was sceptical, "How can we be sure? We don't know!"
Húör spun on his heels and inspected the Paladin, with a slight grin, follow by a slap, "Shut up."
Adra moved to protest, but Húör had already spun back, chuckling. He looked back to Quintilius, "I see you've changed some, you don't wear pink no.... Ah there it is... You pink lovin' stinkin' no-willied bag a' sh*t! "

"It's Húör! He's back!!", Quintilius cheered.

Quintilius turned to Vainia, who was standing close by watching.
"And YOU! Next time yo try to cut someones eye out...", Quintilius went off in a rant, while Húör walked up to Vainia, who was watching him intently.
This was the person who he had hated so much, and who had hated him equally as much.
Quintilius continued to rant in the background, his arms flailing about in an epic detailed description of god knows what as he went off in a tangent.
Now, when he looked at her, he saw someone who was tired. Like him.
The hatred was gone, too much had happened since then, they had both lost a lot of time, and the events had drained them both.
Their eyes met, and with a nod, the two came to an unspoken understanding.
Finished.
He watched her turn and leave, and slowly the rest of the crowd departed, with an air of victory. It didn't matter which side anyone had been on, because now, it was over. Those who had been at each others throats walked out side by side, joking and telling stories, admiring one anothers newly aquired scars, Horde and Alliance alike. Side by side.

Finally, the three of them stood alone in the arena.
Quintilius, Teeboppity, and Húör.
With that air of personal victory, and glad to be back to normal, Húör made his way towards the exit, stopping briefly to yell back to the two who stood arm in arm.

"Ummmm.... QUIN!"
"Yeah?"
"Er... It's good to see... y'know.... I'm glad I.... we.... Happy that...."
"Yeah?", Quintilius looked on eagerly, a cocky grin on his face.
"PISS OFF!!", Húör walked down the hall and vanished from sight.

Húör sat alone on a hill in the Arathi Highlands, the wind tugged at his long raven-black hair. In his hand, he held his eye-patch, fiddling it between his fingers, and he stared out over the hills.
"I've been gone too long. Lots of stuff needs doin'. Lots of stuff needs straightenin' out around here. Yeah... Time to fix things."

((epilogue))

*Shattrath, the city of the Naaru. *

If he had any place to call home now, it would be shattrath. He kneeled before A'dal, thanking him and the light for the victory. what a victory it was..

It had been s strange feeling, being the only elf standing in the midst of a line of tauren, watching Húör, no, Súrion, and Quint together with the rabble they had, and with, curiously, a gnome at his side. As he was preparing to face whatever group won the battle, he suddenly noticed a drumming sound, shaking the earth.. and a wall of mounts jumped into the arena-like pit, and trampled over the two fighting groups.

After Healing Quint and some others up, he turned to track Súrion down. It was time for him to face justice. Instead, he was surprised seeing him knocked down onto the ground, with a bunch of people around him.

..

It seemed Húör got back after all, and no smarter than ever. That slap on his plate helmet must've hurt his hand.

Now, there was only one thing left to be done, and he could use Húörs help in it.

Facing Druella. She owes me an apology or two, or at least a hell of an explanation.
