| Felt pretty good dropping my postal vote of today.
Knowing that miserable half blind wanker will be losing his job this Thursday night... shame the cost of doing so is letting the Tories get in. I'm just hoping for a hung parliament and for a tory/lib colalition to get in. That way we get rid of labour and don't have to put up with awfulness of a full on tory government.
The joke is whoever gets in will probably lose next time given the shit labour are leaving behind for them.
Who else is voting, has thoughts?

| Let a fierce Labour Party voter into the debate - and see how they tear each other apart with Vexa. | |

| I was a staunch Labour supporter but after years of broken promises, missed opportunities and failure to learn from their mistakes i cannot carry on supporting them simply to keep the Tories out. The sad fact is, none of the parties really catch my enthusiasm but to me, not voting has never been an option. I will not sit back and let the politicians think that they can act with impunity. I don't really care who people vote for or their reasons for doing so but i do firmly believe that if you don't vote you are sending a message that you either don't care what they they do or that you believe the lie that you can't make a difference. Get out there this Thursday and vote Brits!!! *gets off soap box* | |

| I support voting reform ... although it carries the risk of more nutty parties getting seats in Parliament. But I guess that's a risk worth taking, given the present system.
(Did you know that Britain has a 57% general election turnout; compared to 96% turnout in Australia, where participation is mandatory?)

| I was feeling pretty good until a had another pamplet shoved through my door this morning. I was about to throw it in with the recycling when I noticed there was a picture of Patrick Stuart on it. Even worse he was telling me why I should vote Labour. I was like WTF? But Captain Picard said so, how can he be wrong?
Now I feel bad man. | |

Now I feel bad man. On a more serious note, I don't like when celebrities campaign for a political party. It is like abusing their popularity.

Now I feel bad man. I've seen him at the theatre. Good actor ... what more can one say? (Other than that he's a 70-year-old multi-millionaire thesp who is classically intense and lives with an under-30 year old bird in a lofthouse penthouse apartment in London city).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDE00vdxMds Was that supposed to make them look bad? I don't think it was *shot* to make them look bad. I think a BBC camera crew was with them and this thing kicked off. Now, whether or not you or I would have responded in the same way is not the question here. I'm certain you would have exercised restraint, Vex (lol-oh-lol!) More that the sight of a suited parliamentary candidate booting someone in the head is, er, a bit unusual (even if he was provoked).

| Well, in Hungary, the local far right party got 12% on the parliamental seats after the elections just a month ago... I find that kinda scary. | |

| Motherfucker... Being spat on is one of the worst disrespects... He should've gone Jackie Chan on his face and broken both his arms.
I wish I lived a few hundred years back when it was totally acceptable to kill a man for such disrespect. I'd gladly switch out penicillin for a sword.

| Don't get me wrong oppy, I'm no fan of theirs either.
But the kid did gob on him, which made him fair game for a clobbering. Even in law I think spitting on someone counts as assault.

Well, my view remains that it did the BNP no PR favours - except, perhaps, to the white male underclass element that thinks "kicking a Paki" is a good thing. On the other hand, I agree the Asian lad was a twat and had something coming to him. I can also speak with experience there, having spent many evenings with dodgy Asian drug dealers and gang members, and being lamped once or twice myself (a favourite tactic is whipping with the metal ends of their belts). Well I suppose it makes politics interesting right now. A mate of mine is the PR guy for Nigel Farage of UKIP, and had to pull Farage out of the wreckage of his crashed plane this morning: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/northamptonshire/8664260.stm

| I don't think I could have controlled myself if some bigoted stupid twat and his chavy mates aggravated me like that.
One of your friends works for UKIP? Oh I am so sorry.

| I just did the quick research of what UKIP is... I find it really ironic that a party against the EU has 13 seats in the European Parliament. | |
