Best handled X-faction rp

In a rather suprising turn of events the following things transpired recently in a very random RP thing that happened. I'm going to put it in point form so its easy to follow what happened.

Krohlm landed in Splinter-tree
Splinter was under attack by a lone boomkin
Krohlm readied to attack
((oocly at this point I saw it was Illanowar of keepers of the grove (night elf) ))
Illanowar saw me and tried to run.
Krohlm chased.
Krohlm caught him due to him being stuck in combat against npcs and being unable to mount.
Krohlm dismounted, threw a few insults. Challenged Illanowar
Illanowar attacked and there was a fight
Krohlm won this fight
(( at the end of this fight I used the /followme emote before he released ))
Illanowar returned to his body and lay down.
Krohlm made him follow him
Illanowar summoned an owl and /shooed it
The owl was to become a message carrier
Krohlm took him to a large orc patrol (this was the actual scheduled event)
We all very quickly arranged to make sure we didn't kill him IC
Illanowar kept using /cough
We took him to Kargathia keep, got attacked by a rogue a few times on the way
The rogue was an IC friend of Illanowars and this was a basic rescue attempt although he was overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of orcs
((we oocly ignored Illanowar attacking the warsong npc's this is due to mechanics ))
(( Got illanowar onto msn at this point ))
Speatus arrived and tried a short interogation
I made sure he didn't reveal any info otherwise icly we would want to kill him having no use for him anymore
(( Krohlm took an RP backseat at this point ))
I then played interpreter (IC) by establishing Krohlm could understand common (Lore point:being a DK he is exposed to all DK's and not just horde)
We took him to Kargathia and stationed alot of our best orcish guards to guard the prisoner
Dardaliek (my tauren doctor) arrived to tend to his cough
((I had a very good RP session with Illanowar over MSN by RPing as the warsong doctor))
Being a druid the cause of Illanowar's illness were the curses of a death knight (Krohlm) interfearing with his rather "natural" (being a druid) body,
Dard arranged for two guards to escort the prisoner outside so he would get enough power from the moon to cure himself.
Dard treated him, Although Illanowar thought his methods rather savage and barbaric (he didn't say anything out of respect for the tauren people)
Illanowar went to sleep and we called it a night for RP

I really wanted to use this as an example of -awesome- x-faction RP and how it -can- be properly handled provided you have the systems in place
Now to explain why:
The warsong have a prisoner
There was -NO- animosity
We were all working together to get the best possible RP solution
There are systems in place to ensure Illanowar's rescue
Everyone kept calm and we were -all- very quick on the uptake and used emotes Illanowar could see so he could understand what was going on.
He got on MSN so I was able to feed him all the info he could need to ensure he was always up to date on what was happening
Illanowar has been able to infiltrate us to an extent of being able to see what the orcs (his enemies) are like up close and not fighting (Krohlm is a bit of an un-known entity right now for alot of the rp in WS-blades being a deathknight so there is alot of flaring up of egos, I made sure Illanowar got to see all of this)

I can only speak for my own character in this so thats why I refer to Krohlm alot.
This all happened last night and none of us expected anything like this so it was completely random. The RP we had it from it (I can only speak for the warsongs) was awesome.
The point i'm trying to get at here is these:
Pvp is not always a bad thing between RP guilds, it just needs to be handled properly to ensure everyones needs are met to the best degree possible. You need to be oocly considerate of what other people are looking for.
You need to steer the rp in a direction to make the best RP possible for -everyone- not just yourself
Make -proper- use of the emotes when dealing with x-faction to make sure they have a general idea of whats going on.
Get systems in place so you can communicate.
Communicate -alot-
Accept when your character is overpowered and you have lost.

I hope alot of "spin off" rp can come from this on both sides. The warsong blades currently hold the leader of a night elf guild captive, you may/may not want to rescue him or kill him depending on your stance. So use this opportunity to attempt to make roleplay for yourself without trying to take it over or hog it as such, take Illanwars needs into account when you attempt to join what could become a very interesting plot.

O Yes.. Illanowar if your rescue attempt fails or if we cant get it off the ground I will submit my tauren druid over to your people to use as a bargaining chip should you need it.

I have to admit, this was a turn up for the books!

Hats off to Illanowar for being an all round sound guy.

Sounds realy awesome.. It´s nice to hear Alliance and Horde can also cooperate instead of killing each other on sight..

When I first spotted the <Warsong Blades> I noticed about6 level 80 horde in full level 80 raid gear. I must admit, I was rather dissappointed at that moment (days ago). But with some communication with you directly, it made me realise the point there is more to RPPVP..

Well done, and I trust we'll have more RP shortly.

Still, we need to see how we keep this going. You lot outlevel and out gear us.. as we have mostly RP gear on.

Ah yes. I have similar instances with the Militia most weeks, though we haven't actually spoke in a while.

We can sort something out I'm sure. I attacked Astranaar a while back after allies had been having a go at Splintertree, then felt really bad after shield-slamming one of your rogues who was wearing rp gear. Made me feel pretty nubish!

Lets hope we can get some nice fairer fights in the future!

YAY!!! happy x-fac RP!!!! that's good to hear. I remember when the HoS kidnaped poor old Balamir! that all ended in a bit of a nurdrage oh well at least it can work out sometimes.
