Ishnu-alah!
Due to the fact the Keepers will be needing their Arch-druid shortly, we need to have an escape plan ready. Lets try to arrange this here on the form, trusting upon the experience and general acceptance of you all involved.

In Character:
The bright face of Elune pierces the blanket of leaves of the Ashenvale Grove. Ilanowyr still resides within the Warsong Hold, guarded by uncivilized, brutal Orc - including one of the living dead. Ilanowyr has been observing the orc race, but thought of them to expel the dead as well.. It seems they are even without honour after death.

Ilanowyr looks around slowly, observing the remaining orcs close, wondering what their next move would be. Time is running thin, for he would have to leave them soon.. once he’s done here.

Alrighty I just need two things.

A) knowledge of your location IC somehow. (Then again both being druids could help that I dunno)
B) A time to set this up...preferably this weekend as I won't be stuck in work Smile

A) A nice birdy owl would have enlightened you. Ilanowyr's pet was /shoo-ed during X-roleplay.
B) Its hard to do this event live-action, so we might as well do it here on this topic with "In Character:" notes?

((Hi there. Looking forward to some good RP in the aftermath of your escape, however it happens.

Just a friendly reminder to anyone who may become involved in your escape: please be aware of the contents of this thread (link), as it will certainly impact the situation. We're trying to get as much synergy between our plotlines as possible, so please take the Ashenvale lockdown into consideration.

I'm gonna leave it at that, as this particular plot is Krohlm's baby, and he'll represent the Blades in this matter.

I hope your time in our care has given your guild some good RP opportunity, because it certainly has for the Blades. Thanks for that.

Oh, Krohlm mate, when you guys have this escape sorted please give me a shout as to when it happened IC. I assume this is happening soon, so it might impact on some other events.))

A brown bird flies high up in the skies above Northrend, ignoring the sharp cold winds that blow above the icy continent.
High pointy towers slowly uncover in the distance, their roofs reflecting the colors of the northern lights, as the great horned owl dived down towards the biggest building towering high above the regular houses of the city. Descending upon the balcony of the tower the owl gracefully landed, resting his sharp claws on a piece of bark.

The nightelf smiled at the owl sitting on his shoulder as he stroke it over his head, before moving his attention to the message that was carefully attached to the owl's leg. Unfolding the note that was slightly ravaged by the elements, his eyebrows took a slightly worried stance when spotting the Darnassian writings. Quietly mumbling: "Warsong orcs.." the druid went inside again.. His loyal companion still resting on his shoulder, glad to embrace the warmth of the citadel.

((Btw: To avoid confusion, it's Feronius' owl, not the same one as Ilanowyr's. Smile ))

The forest of Ashenvale. This once so tranquil forest was suddenly not so serene due to the Warsongs martial law placed on, what the believed to be, their lands.

A small stream seemingly leading out towards durotar continued its task of running water. However upon closer inspection a large object was seemingly lieing motionless in the middle of it. The object seemed to move...it was a tauren. He gasped for a breath whilst choking and spitting out water that had creeped down his throat.

*gasp* Huh...where am I?...Ashenvale?
The tauren stood to its hooves however he seemed to double over in pain. A now soaking bandage hung loose across his chest bloodstains evident on them.

Gnn...I...I have to leave...home...

An owl approached him seemingly carrying a message. Liontooths curiousity perked as he familiarised himself with the message. His eyes widened

No...they got...grr...I can not let them have their way with him!

The tauren moved slowly into the forest...perhaps heading towards the keep.

(( More fun to post with my Druid: Purewish Renturion ))

"Andu-falah-dor"
"Anu'dorini talah"
"Dure-Adore"

Purewish waved and smiled at the Dryad's as she walked over a flyer of the Warsong Clan. Ashenvale, her once so tranquil and beautiful forest was destroyed. As black featherd owl's were flying over, she walked past the River, facing the red rocks of Durotar.
Suddenly Purewish noticed a shadowy figure, she closed her eyes and melded quickly in the shadow of a tree. As quiet as she could, she followed the Tauren, who was leaving little drops of water and blood in his path.
Again, she noticed a flyer; she was close to Warsong Hold. She never tried to get close to it, because she knew it was a very dangerous area.
Drops of water were falling down from the darkend sky..

"May the clean rain purify us all" she whisperd.

Krohlm grunted and he dragged the unwilling night elf into Kargathia, the orginal fight was hardly worth mentioning but the smell of fear was rank on her as they got closer to the keep, She had struggled at first until Krohlm had just hit again. Krohlm moved her toward the prisoner tent, time for some torture then.
The elves and orcs were the same in someways but vastly different in others. Sheer pain would not be enough to sway this druid. He needed something more sinister. It had taken him sometime to come up with this unique way of getting the night elf to talk and only time would tell. He acknowledged the guards with a grunt. They stepped aside but a little too quickly, he doubted they were that disciplined. It must be fear. Krohlm certainly didn't care. He ducked under the tent flap and pulled his prisoner with him. The tent had its usual guards and cages and deserters. He moved over toward Illanowyr.
He threw the young night elf maiden to the floor and put a solid boot on her back. As Krohlm looked down he could see she had been crying.
Krohlm turned his head and regarded Illanowyr. His time with the death knights from all walks of life meant he could speak very basics of the languages.
In terrible broken Drassian and heavy accented he peered to Illanowyr and said simply "Talk"
The night elf said something and Krohlm only managed to understand the words "Betray" and "people". The night elf quickly started talking to the maiden on the ground who whimpered.
With that he nodded and hefted his hammer high above his head. He gave Illanowyr one final look but the elf looked Defiant. With that he brought the hammer down with all his strength.
The blow came down on the maidens head with a sickening crack and the sound of an over-ripe melon hitting the floor the maiden shock for a little. Krohlm smiled at the "Death dance" of the maiden as it seemed to be a live person having a fit.
With that he turned to look back Illanowyr and smiled.
He threw a bolt of unholy energy at the body and it started to twitch and started to push herself to her feet. Krohlm would use this ghoul to fight her own people. It was only a gesture but it would serve for now. He threw a grin at the elf before walking out the tent the way he came. The maiden finally got to her feet and turned to follow Krohlm out of the tent.

((Illanowyr, you are free to copy/paste this story and add pieces of how your character would react to the situation, what he was doing etc. This is essentially the torture I chose for Illanowyr because it doesn't harm his character and it seems harsh enough for a being that loves all life))

The tent had its usual guards and cages and deserters. He moved over toward Illanowyr.
He threw the young night elf maiden to the floor and put a solid boot on her back. As Krohlm looked down he could see she had been crying.

Ilanowyr recognized the Silverwing Sentinel from moons past, and his gaze turned darker, already knowning what fate she had to endure.. what fate he had to endure. Ilanowyr has been trained by the first of druid, as did his brother Falgarn Staghelm – one lesson is that all nature will endure in time. The remnants of the past still scar the lands, but the ancients endured.. From this knowledge Ilanowyr draws strength to his decision..

Krohlm turned his head and regarded Illanowyr. His time with the death knights from all walks of life meant he could speak very basics of the languages. In terrible broken Drassian and heavy accented he peered to Illanowyr and said simply "Talk"

Ilanowyr’s voice turned into a surprising angered sound, unheard before. “If you dare to believe I will betray my people, you do your chieftain ill credit, dead one…”

Ilanowyr used his experience of the Dream to contact the Sentinel in order to speak encouraging words. “We cannot falter, sister of Elune.. we will not. Rest with that knowledge and forgive me.” The moment he spoke their connection sprouted small vines from underneath the wooded planks of the floor, sprouting small flowers – blessing her body with Nature’s touch.

Ilanowyr’s face turned back to his usual grace, but in silence making a vow against the dead orc.

The moment the liveless corpse leaves the tent and witnesses the glory of Elune’s grace (moon), it drops to the floor – making sure it cannot rise again as a walking dead.

Meanwhile, Ilanowyr slimps away into a slumber, entering the Dream. He sensed the slow but ever-steady growth of the leaves, the branches, and the roots. The timeless wisdom, the eternal thoughts within. His search began..He had spend enough time with the Orcs now.

Purewish saw the injured Tauren walking further and further. She still saw the line of blood-drops following the path of the Tauren.
She wanted to speak, but she didn't knew the Tauren, nor how he would react. The moment she opened her mouth to speak, the sound of stamping feat could be heard; Orcs were coming her way. Purewish' eyes were turning green as her feet and toe's rooted in the ground. Her soft purple skin was changing into thick, hard bark and her long, blue hair and arms were growing towards the air, transforming into thin, small branches, green leafs and big purple flowers. The Orc's were talking, but in Purewish' ears it sounded more like screaming. The Orc's passed and all of a sudden, she felt the death of a fellow Kal'dorei.

"Surfas'alah denai Falore" she whisperd.

After a few seconds of thinking, she heard conversations in the soft blowing wind. Slowly she shifted back into her Elfen form and she walked towards the Warsong Stronghold, the Kal'dorei must have died there. Purewish slowly followed the path and she saw dead and chopped down tree's; she knew she was close. It wasn't save enough to walk the road..
Her small silver eyes turned blue and Purewish' purple skin, started to get feathers. In her raven-form she flew over Warsong Hold, hoping she would find the corpse of the Kal'dorei.

The keep seemed to have increased in its security. Grunts and workers where patroling the area keeping an eye out for anything. In the shadows however a figure moved trying its best to keep out of sight.

It was once again Liontooth. He spotted a familiar face leaving a tent...it was Krohlm...the orc his brother knew.

"There must be something there...now comes the interesting part...getting past the guards." Liontooth muttered still holding on to his side.

"This pain is going to make this hard...I must knock them out before they see me or this could go very...badly"

Moving slowly and painfully he started to make his move.

PostSubject: Re: Staghelm's escape.   Staghelm's escape. EmptyFri Feb 06, 2009 2:57 pm

(Oh, look! A bee hive to put my head into!)

He felt them nibbeling, eating on his toes. It tickled like mad, but in a pleasant way.
The bobber was floating in the river, hardly moving. It must proves that the fish were wise indeed, to prefer the dirt on his feet instead of the lethal fishing lure.
It would have been more productive to remove his feet from the water to make the fish more interested in the lure, but he didn't really want to catch anything today.
Grark dozed off, his back resting comfortably against a great tree.

He awoke with a start, alarmed by the change in the forest. It felt restless, as if the spirits anticipated something.
Seeing how his rest was at an end, he gathered his fishing gear and painfully rose to his feet, forcing his cranky knees to move.
Then he resumed his wolf form and crept into the forest.

Grark was far more careful than usual, as those pesky Warsong fools had grown increasingly paranoid of late. He also kept a weary eye out for any night elf scouts, as those had been on an edge aswell, probably for the same reason. He had read the posts about the martial law of course, but he was far too old to care about such things. Whatever the reason, he didn't plan to get dragged into it. Knowing himself, he doubted he would succeed in restraining his meddling though.

He had to hide, wait and circle around to avoid several patrols out in the forest. It seemed that the Warsongs had increased their patrolling range alot, as if expecting an attack of some kind.
No matter, he would soon be gone anyway. Or at least that was the plan.

Although trying to stay clear of the Warsong Hold, he had to pass it on his way. It had cleared a large area of the forest lately and were felling more trees every day. He felt the seething anger of the spirits of the forest and it pained him somewhat, but there was little he could do about it at present.
Coming to the border of the clearing, he felt a presence nearby; one that he vaugely recognized. His curiousity piqued, he very carefully crept closer.
At the edge of the clearing waited a lone taur; clad in leather and its fur bloodied. Grark recognized this specific taur as he had come across it on various occations in Thunder Bluff. Before he was able to make any sort of contact, the taur started cautiously making its way toward the Hold.

For a couple of moments Grark concidered weather he should interviene or not, but he failed to restrain himself as usual. Lowering himself into the vegetation, he too started prowling toward the Hold, following the taurs trail.

Liontooth continued to creep closer to his destination but was stopped in his tracks by a sound coming from behind him.

Pulling out a dagger he turned to meet whatever was following him.

"Come out whoever you are" he muttered quietly

Grark cursed loudly as a twig snapped under his paw. He was never that clumsy.
Thus he let his wolf form fade, taking his guise as and orc once again.
The taur immidiatly spotted him, surprise and suspiciun plain in its eyes.

Hunchend forward, Grark quickly made his way toward where the taur waited and smiled his normal, wolfish smile.
"Hello there, Lion. Fancy finding you here."

"Grark, what are you doing here?"

Grark kept smiling at the taur, knowing full well that this was not a good time to fool around.

"I might ask you the same. Seeing how you asked first, I'm obliged to answer first, but then It's your turn."

Lion nodded as it did sound fair, while Grark continued with the same smile;

"I got curious and followed you. Now your turn, why are you here?"

Hmph... Liontooth grunted as he put his dagger back in its holder. He then pointed to the tent from where he saw Krohlm emerge.

In there...the warsongs are holding someone. I plan to find out more and perhaps "throw a spanner in the works" as the goblins say.

Liontooth then stared at Grark not fully convinced of how trustworthy the orc is.

It is like this elder orc...I plan to go down there...If you plan to get in my way then I suggest you walk away now...if not then I request you walk away now

Pain was evident despite Liontooths small threat causing him to grit his teeth and lean over in pain, his arms folded across his chest.

So...What is it going to be...huh?

Grark gave Liontooth a questioning look, answering;

"Yes, I'm sure you can do all this very well on your own and I'd only be in your way. Besides, there's no time for me to take a peek on that wound of yours."

He shrugged, without giving any incination of turning back.

"Keep going then, I won't hold you up. Though perhaps there will be some minor cuts and bruises I might take care of when you'r done?"

Grark settled back down into the grass, waiting for Lion to continue on his quest.

Purewish flew over and she focussed her gaze on the Tauren and the Orc. She was still insecure how hostile they were. Purewish guessed the Tauren would be neutral and friendly, because she felt the druidism in him. The Orc was a different story.. Azerotheon Orc's were a hideous, nasty race, corrupted by fel and other dark magic and she knew they weren't always very friendly.

"Ashte'rodne fanass" she wispered with a grin on her face. ( He is ugly indeed )

She was losing her focus. Perhaps it was a better idea to approach the two mysterious men.
Purewish landed on the ground in a berry-bush, making sure the two wouldn't see her. Slowly the black, shiny feathers were returning to her skin and her purple skin was showing again. Her legs were growing and her ugly, grey talons transformed into tiny, soft feet.

"Ana'duna Thalas"

Liontooth simply stared at Grark then sighed in frustration.

No time...I need to get into that tent...first get past the guards somehow. If I can just get to them with...

Liontooth stopped mid sentence. He knew there was another presense approaching.

More people following me? I must be getting careless...

"It was now or never" Purewish thought. She knew the druid noticed her. She sighed and she closed her eyes, stepping out of the shadow, revealing herself to the Orc and Tauren. During her stay in Moonglade, she picked up a few lines of Taur-ahe, so she thought this would be a good opening line:

"Mu-Chi" she said with her warm, calm voice. (( Hi you ))

Then she rememberd something her mentor told her: "Druids can understand eachother, even if they don't share the same language"
So she started, hoping the Tauren would explain it to the Orc.

"I'm looking for the corpse of a young Kal'dorei, who I think got killed somewhere in this village"
"Are you looking for the same, or do you work for them?" she said while glaring at the Orc.

Grark instinctivly bared his teeth and snarled as he saw the Night Elf. She looked frail and cute, but he'd never be fooled by appearance again.
He drew the surrounding spirits closer to him, ready to lash out if she showed any sign of agression.
Being half-deaf as he is, he didn't hear the greeting in Taur-ahe. Thus, he kept a weary watch out into the forest if any more were hiding there, ready to strike at them.

No I have not seen any Kal'dorei corpses little one...

Liontooth quickly interjected holding out his right arm in a motion for Grark not to attack should that be his wish.

I have however...learned of a respected druid in captivity down there...

Liontooth pointed to the camp once again.

As a brother of the Cenarion Circle it is my duty to aid him before the Warsong scum have their way...That is of course unless it is too late already...

Liontooth turned his head to Grark.

You will not speak a word of this to them correct? After all this must be done swiftly and quietly.

Liontooth peered at his targets...two orcish grunts standing surprisingly vigilant.

This will...not be easy
Liontooth muttered while grunting in pain.

I...need to distract them...somehow
