[RP] Hearthglen shall be darkened! - By Archnazg

A select group of agents from the House of Sylvanas stand in the throneroom of Lordaeron. One of them displaying his power over necromancy to Archnazg.

"Very good. That is one of my favourites to utilise."

A Dark Ranger, known as Sight, holds a bright rose, as it fades into darkness and turns into a grey sand, spilling over the floor.

"I believe it is time we exercise our powers over Necromancy. Let us travel to the blooming city of Hearthglen and destroy their 'beautiful' trees and grass that are oh so famous... Sylvanas has issued me with orders, we are to harass the Crusade, Algorath must be angered.. all part of some great plan. "

The group had arrived. Dismissing their summoned Deathchargers. Lord Archnazg Magnark, Death Knight Count Dracanos Sunbrand, Dark Ranger Sight, Death Knight Sir Drakarm Gorwath, and Dark Patriarch Haelas Dawnshade stood before the guards of the first blockade on the road to Heathglen.

No one spoke a word, Archnazg merely casting his gaze around them. Shadow swirled all around them, a Ritual of Doom began to commence. Summoning to their command a tretchoress demon, a doomguard they charged into the blockade.

They decimated a path up to Hearthglen, the gates were open, the House arrived unexpectedly. As they entered, the Death Knights, Dark Rangers, Haelas and Archnazg began treading over their grass, chanting words of Death Magic. The plants and trees darkened, they became tainted, the light could have been seen disappearing as the dew was dried out. If one were to touch the tainted grass, it would merely turn to ash.

They made their way to the mage tower in the centre of the city. Haelas, from there, cast the decimating disease over the city. A misty green now tainted the air, the moon ignited it into a screen of decay.

However, they were not alone.

"My lord, we have company."

Yalson handed Archnazg a spyglass. Archnazg peered off the tower, towards the keep.

"Algorath. We did not come for their blood, only those whom attacked us were destroyed. We leave now!"

Archnazg peered around, as he ordered the retreat. As Archnazg sprung from the tower, Sight was taken down by a mysterious night elf rogue, however was to be risen shortly after by Haelas.

After escaping the tower, they met the resistence of Algorath. They were repelled, but Archnazg was given a tretchoress blow. Haelas soon restored his soul. They continued the retreat. As they retreated, Algorath yelled to Archnazg.

"You have crossed a line this time..!"

Algorath pulls off his helmet, looking over a large mass of scarlet tents, his own blood running from the top of his head, down between his eyes and over his lip.

Well done, Lorik.. The clerists? I hope they are working on cleansing the lands..

High Protector Lorik nods and replies with a quick 'Yes', Algorath looks around at the camp, at all the Scarlets working on setting up their temporary homes.

The Forsaken are so foolish.. And this wont go unpunished.. They are in your hands, Lorik.. I must return to Stormwind. I expect to hear from you when the clerists are done in cleansing Hearthglen, so they can return home.

An old man sat with his stencil and etching kit, trying to capture the mood of underlight, death, decay and general 'unlife' that seemed to swell around the Cults of the Damned© (there was a new one each week) in the Undercity.

As Archie walked past, a small black butterfly landed on Lushan's canvas, instantly causing it to rot and wilt.

"You little f**&^(@g ba**^%^) sh**£!!1!" sang the former priest, in his melifuous voice, with the rasp of a thousand cigarette-a-day habit. The tirade continued for some time, as he smashed up his easel and snapped his brushes.

"Black, black and damned black," he muttered, hawking a piece of gob and lung onto the foot of a passerby. "Mad plots and a fashion parade frozen at a child's funeral. Pffft."

He kicked a small child as he strode off to the pub.
