| I loooove this game. I did the nice thing and helped Megaton. You get a robot butler then as well. Did you try to go back to megaton after it's blown. I heard that you get to meet a certain someone (or someones) that survived the blast. (Oops, was that a spoiler?) | |

| I actually just blew it up to see the explosion. I made a save game beforehand to continue playing.
So Megaton is still there in the game itself, but who can resist using a nuke

| You'll be able to use mini-nukes later on though. :} | |

| *Sigh* One of the many games that came out this month I want to have. Fallout 3, Red Alert 3, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead and WOTLK, all in the same month! fantastic! >.< Anyhow, so Fallout 3 combat is kinda like FPS? then I'm a lot more tempted to buy it, I thought it was some typical lame RPG combat system | |

| Fallout 3 gives you the choice to shoot as a normal FPS game, but has the V.A.T.S. too. V.A.T.S. pauses the game and lets you do 2 or 3 shots aimed at a specific bodypart and shows how much chance you have at hitting that. The positive thing is that the VATS is more accurate and therefor does more damage, but your weapon loses constitution faster. It's a choice, I use both ways depending on the situation I am in. Vault-tec Advanced Targetting System (V.A.T.S.) with 3 shots directed towards the head lined up. Result don't mind the strange bar on the right, no idea how that got there. | |

| That's a bit of overkill isn't it? I mean, the mines and the flying old man are hilarious, but then shooting him once he's fallen to the ground? |

| There's a link to another Fallout 3 vid on that one which was a little disturbing. The guy goes on a murdering spree to the tunes of "Mr Sandman". The sheer repetitiveness of the murders, plus the detail shown of the method used were a little OTT imo. I know we've had games that do similar stuff before, like Manhunt and GTA, but at least you had a variety of killing methods in them! |

| I've seen that one indeed.... The Mister Sandman comes from the name of the special ability used to make those kills.
What amazed me is that he lost Karma for the stealing of items but not for the killing to get the keys to open the safe and stuff.
