I don´t realy mind worms, so don´t find them disturbing in the slightest. Not since I found like 20 butterfly larvas (what´s the plural here?) on my balcony. But I just rolled up some toilet paper and put them out of their misery...

Plural is larvae.
And I have studied biology so I had to get used to the sight of worms and other invertebrates, and I was also feeding similar things to some baby birds, but I know it is shocking to most people.

Did you feed them in the correct way? By huking up into their waiting mouths? You'd better have done.
