| That's quite arrogant. France is far from an incompetent nation. Weird, yes! But incompetent, no. | |

I work with a pan European team, and yes, they are. Won't listen to anyone else, follow outdated practices, bury everything in tons of paperwork, and then whine when they get themselves in a mess. Some nice people though, I guess. Apart from being French, of course. | |

Some nice people though, I guess. Apart from being French, of course. And then you add in the fact that the Parisians are even worse! And I know this to be a fact, my sister and her husband currently live in Versailles having lived in a northern suburb for about a year before that. |

| Just to underline why I stand by my comments about the french... Part of my job is second line support for the company website. Someone in the french team forwarded customer problem onto me, naturally missing any helpful details for me to investigate. To start working on it I asked them to send me the user ID for the customer. As you can get the user ID from copying and pasting from some browser based screens, I expected a quick reply with the user ID. But no. Instead, I got an emailled pdf which was a scan in of a screen print showing the user ID. Thats right, they found the user ID on the browser screen. Made a print out of the screen. Scanned it back in as a pdf. Then attached the document in an email to me.... | |
