| The latest thing could be explained with either a) you had many good roleplayers among you, or b) you had many very submissive members.
If you folks cannot find one solid leader character, forming a small leading council (3 being recommendable number), which makes the decisions. Little slower, but shouldn't prove too problematic. Also, this will divide the weight of leadership from one person's shoulders, as any council member might be granted the right to make minor commands/decisions by himself, needing the acceptance of his fellow council members only for larger-scale things.
Besides that, this kind of setting is very good ground for ambitious power struggles later on. Good RP stuff.

In history, triumvirates always ended up by two of them teaming up against the third, who had to resign; then the two rivalizing until one of them gives up. But this always happened after a while; until that, the triumvirate ruled.

| Maybe it could work out as it did before with 1 person as THE leader and a few people as officers, just this time they will make decisions as a whole, with the leader having the same authority as the officers, but having to officaly confirm the decision made.. Heīd have the right to stand against it if he realy didnīt like it. That way decision making wouldnīt be on the head of one person and therefore he wouldnīt have a reason to feel like he is standing in the way of other peopleīs rp... *shrug* And I think having A leader is the best thing for something as HoS, because he would represen, and the members with less authority have someone to look up to or go to for advice. |

Option A), definately. Anyways, a hierachy was the way the things went, and I think I speak for all if I say the members were zealously loyal. Maybe not to Archy directly, but then to Sylvanas, and that was enough. To be honest, I like the way this idea of you is sounding. We could have 3 councilmembers, each with their own area of expertise, perhaps.. Military, Politics, and Magic or something.. could work, I guess.
