| Good to see they have done something about shaman Survivability... They have deduced our armour and given us an extra 3% agility, awesome, can't wait to get in there with those Death Knights with my new Spirit Weapons that now reduces all threat generated by 30%! and not just physical attacks!
fan-fucking-tastic Blizzard.

| Actually I wasn't refering to the class changes; this Argent Tournament sounds interesting.
Anyone know anything about it? I could google it I suppose, but I'm not feeling very energetic today...

| To be honest? The most interesting thing in there was that mounts can now swim. Okay, cool, I mean they've had swimming animations since forever anyway so it'll be nice to see them for more than a second before you dismount. But does that include bikes? And if yes, why?
EDIT: Ooh, colourblind mode? WoW in film-noir black-and-white? Oh, YES sir give me more! (Patch 3.2 - Added sassy dames and tommy guns)

| Swimming mounts? Can horses swim? Would Hawkstriders be able to swim? Mechanostriders? That last one makes no sense.
Anyway, after reading the notes I see that the Disc Priests AoE Power Word:Shield has been dropped. Which is really, really bad considering they have taken Divine Spirit away from them as a unique spell. /sadface

damn right... not fair, we oughta own this game again like old times... ahh the old times *gazes into the distance... Looking forward for that double spec though, apparently you will be able to change specs at the Lexicon of Power whenever you want! should make the game mor intresting for raiders who happen to like pvp aswell... "• A new Gear Manager feature has been added. Players will now be able to save gear sets for easy gear switching. " something tells me this "Gear Manager" will still not be as good as Outfiter or Item Rack addons... |

• Ancestral Awakening: This talent now accounts for your ineffective healing, rather than effective. • Cleanse Spirit now has a new icon. • Riptide : This spell has a new icon.

Nope, I didn’t. I was just kinda hoping it would apply to those specific mounts, or those normal mounts that can swim (with someone on their back) with a degree of sincerity. I guess I’m just struggling with the idea of a Kodo swimming in the ocean, with a Tauren on its back, with no care in the world.

Swimming mounts? That sounds indeed odd in some cases. Horses, wolves and tigers can swim in real life, perhaps raptors could, too. I can even imagine a kodo swimming like a hippopotamus (by the way, why aren't there any hippos on Azeroth?). I can even imagine a contraption in a mechanostrider that turns it into a submarine. But a hawkstrider? Birds avoid water because their feathers can't functionate if they are wet - except for the waterfowl (ducks, geese, swans etc.), who have water-repellent feathers. And the motorbikes? On the other hand, it was indeed annoying that you always dismounted and had to remount if you had to cross a river - it will be easier this way. What about the flying mounts - will they be able to fly underwater?

"All Ground Mounts may now swim without dismounting the rider. Flying Mounts still may NOT, and will dismount the rider upon entering water. "

That’s why I use bridges and avoid swampy areas.

If a flamingo can swim, why not a hawkstrider?

| Because flamingos are specially adapted to their environment. Like ducks.
There is very little evidence that Hawkstriders are that type of bird.
The Kodo – Hippo thing has made the picture a lot better in my mind. But still, the thought of deep-sea diving on my horse is freaky.

| I’m just going to take screenies of me, at the bottom of the ocean with my Warlock Belf on the back of a Hawkstrider. Just for the lolls.
I suppose as long as it’s a blue Hawkstrider its ok. (Ha, silly FF reference to Chocobos)
Now then… has anyone heard anything more about this Argent Dawn arena thing? And shouldn’t the Argent Dawn be… well, purging the world of all evil rather than building entertainment venues?
