The Guiding Star


Are you hungry and thirsty?
Or you need a place to relax with your friends and relatives?

Then look up on the sky and follow the path to the Guiding Star!

Provides:
- drinks
- warm meals
- ocassional entertaining programmes

Location:
Stormwind City park district, left from the moonwell.


Opening night 30th of October (a Friday) at 20:00.

Have a pleasure night with us!


p.s.: Normal currency and dinarii are both accepted

On Friday night:

All the tables were clean, reflecting the lights of the candlesticks placed precisely in the middle of each table. Behind the bar counter, jars and small barrels were standing on the shelves, full of good drinks. From the kitchen, mixed smell of foods were coming, filling the air of the bar.

The Guiding Star was open and ready for the customers to come.


A Mielikki, a dark skinned draenei was leaning over a table, writing on a piece of paper, fixing her welcome speech. Her human assistant, Felaldan was sitting on the other end of the long table, looking toward the entrance and waiting for the first quests.

The draenei was about to finish the correction when she heard her assistant gasping strangely. She looked up to see two big, masked orcs sitting at their tables on the sides of Felaldan. After a few moments of shock Mielikki slowly stood up and moved behind her chair, while Felaldan ran to her and hid behind the much taller draenei’s back. The orcs were talking about something, then one of them stood up and said something to the two scared bar personnels and pointed toward the bar counter.
- Maybe they want to be served. – drew the conclusion Mielikki, as she turned to the human, who was shivering like a leaf in the autumn wind.
- If that saves our lives I will do it. – he replied after overcoming his fear.
Felaldan went to pour some beer in glasses and then handed them to the orcs. After he tried serving them with some fine meat. One of the green quests got angered by it apparently and shouted at the human, who swiftly ran back behind his superior, shivering even more than before.

The two orcs walked behind the bar counter and peered under it, like they were looking for something. They checked the kitchen as well, while the personnels were just watching them, standing at one place not daring to move and just hoping to survive the night. After a while the green guests turned toward them. One suddenly unsheathed his blade and stabbed Felaldan who immediately collapsed on the ground. Seeing this, Mielikki got striken by fear, and tried to flee, toward the exit. She almost reached the corner turn when a lightning from a device struck her in the back and she fell.
Everything turned black.

The unusual, green quests were heading out of the bar. Before leaving, one stopped and turned to bow before the immaginary audiance then disappeared in the dark of the night.

Cato slipped through the doorway undetected, Mesha slowly followed using the robe of shadow like a second skin. This was a place where they could not be seen by the wrong people, Stormwind’s stockades was not a place that either of them wanted to spend the evening. They had to make the kill quickly, in and out – that was the plan. The target was said to be drinking in that very tavern.
Easy as piss, Cato thought. They could get the job done and still be back in Orgrimmar by morning.

The room had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the light from the flickering candles and the smell of food filled the air. The only people in the room was a male human and a female draenei sitting on either end of the table. Mesha snorted at Cato.

“So, the ever illustrious Cato... Where’s our target?”

Mesha said with a smirk, clearly the politician wasn’t there.

“Shuddup Mesha, darlin’. Let’s ‘ave us a drink and wait for the fella, yea?” Cato's thick Orgrimmar drag accent raking the air like a cheese grater.

They moved to the occupied table and slid themselves in, much to the shock of the tavern staff. The human fled, hiding behind the Draenei. Mesha snorted at the sight of it.

“Brave lad, that one.” Cato said, pointing at the human with his eyes. “Oi, fella! Make yourself useful and get us a drink, mate.”

As if the human had understood him, he came round to Mesha and Cato and brought them drinks. With a nod, Cato took the beer and gulped down the majority of it before almost choking when a plate of meat was put in front of him.

“This ain’t %#**en pork, what’s this bollocks you’re trying to shove down me gullet? You humans will eat anything won’t ye?”

Mesha sighed, completely uninterested in continuing their games with the human.

“Cato, clearly our target isn’t here. So let’s cut the throats of these civilians and get out of here before the guards walks through that door. I am not in the mood for a bar brawl, thank you very much.”

Cato nodded.

“Alright luv, ‘ave a butchers behind the bar see if they got anything of value.”

Mesha jumped over the counter and browsed the bar, but found nothing.

“Nothing here. Now let’s go.”

“W’at? No coin? W’at about the kitchen?” Cato said getting out of his seat.

A simple “No” from Mesha.

“Alright then,” Cato said as he walked up to the human male. “Thanks for the drink mate, but you see, I gotta make sure I get outta the walls before you go grassin’ me up to them guards that are gonna be burstin’ through that door in a minute. So no ‘ard feelings, yea?”

Cato drew a nasty jagged dagger and plunged it into the human’s stomach, he collapsed. The Draenei tried to flee but Cato unclipped the lightning generator from his belt and the bolt stuck true, knocking her to the ground.

Mesha and Cato walked out of the door.

“Don’t they know we eat %#**en pork? Really, no wonder we’re always killin’ each other. Bloody pinkies.”

Cato muttered as he left the tavern.

Mesha, as sinister as ever, turned before she left and gazed at the two bodies. She smiled and bowed before leaving herself.
