Drawing a chair up to the table Emanee smiled nervously at the hooded faces sat around. Nodding a welcome the figure at the head motioned for her to sit. Carefully drawing the chair in, ensuring not to catch her robe on the floor Emanee sat down looking firmly at the stained and beer dampened table in front of her.
The hooded figure at the head of the table drew in a deep breath, and began to speak.....
"I think you all know why we are here this evening" The light but serious female voice began "Much to do and time.... is..... as always running out."
The figures around the table nodded, Emanee simply continued to try outstare the stain that looked like the head of an orc. Words continued to be exchanged and the druid began to daydream, remembering the past few months and the changes they had brought - more authority, more things to sort.
Inadvertantly as she thought of this she let out a large sigh, catching the attention of the chairperson.
"What are your feelings on this, Druidess?" The Chairwoman commanded.
"Uhm.... errr.... I agree" Emanee mumbled, trying not to draw attention to the fact that she had missed the entire conversation.
"Then the matter is settled.... " again as the talking continued Emanee began to drift into her dreams, of her lost love Quelor and of her best friend Bippy and her....fate, of Vainia and Liontooth, of Huor and of of..... well many things, so engrossed in thought she jumped in shock as someone tapped on her shoulder.
"Mistress?" A softer, younger voice asked.
"Uhm yes...." Emanee sheepisly replied.
"The meeting is over, we've another group coming in ten or so minutes - you need to leave" Emanee looked up to note a blonde haired barmaid.
Blushing and pulling her hood as low as she could Emanee left the meeting room, hoping she had not disgraced herself in front of the others.
