Run of the peons!

greetings peons of the horde!
on monday the 17th we must run to conquest hold! we will gather at the jaggedswine farm and go to warsong hold by zeppelin and from there we march on to conquest hold.


a few days ago me (as mukdrak) and Torgadon (as péon) ran from warsong hold to conquest hold, i filmed some parts of it and made an awesome movie but lost it so now i want to recreate it but only then much bigger with more peons!


Rules:
-orc of level 1-3 (lower is better because then you dont have the rez timer)
-we will run from warsong hold, dont take shortcuts (turtles for example)
-rezing at spirit healers is allowed
-try to stay as a group


gathering and start
-we will gather at jaggedswine farm south of orgrimmar.
-we will gather there at 15:50 be there ontime, we leave soon after.
-whisper Peón for invite to the raid (to keep track of eachother)
-the event is on monday the 17th

the alliance
the alliance is free to watch us run and getting killed by mobs, but most likely some will also try to come and kill us, to those who do want to kill us i only ask to not use AOE abilities.

peon names

we prepared a list of peon names you can choose from if you like (if one is taken you can use things like é and ö), i will post it soon.

talking like a peon

first, scarshield legion is an RPPVP server, this means you shouldnt say lol or use smilys in /s or /y, raid chat is better for that anyway. if you want to use /s or /y use one of the things peons often say.

Peon looks

a bald orc hunter is the best peon, since hunter starting clothes are good peon clothes and class doesn't matters anyway.

abilities that target multiple people.

like volley for hunters or blizzard for mages.

event is finished now.

about 12 peons came.

got some problems with the zeppelin at first and half of the group somehow ended up in TB (they fell or something and rezzed there). a few had problems with WotLK and couldnt go with us.

in the end we had about 7/8 peons and a human.

to bad that when we got killed by some high level players horde players came to protect us and also killed the human a couple of times.

but it was fun! the alliance was only activly killing us near the dehta checkpoint, near wyrmrest and in conquest hold. the rest of the time we got killed by angry mobs (and lots of birds!)

i got some awesome movie stuff and when i got it all together i'll post it here!

Too bad the Horde kept killing me... I told the Alliance a bit what the event was about and asked them not to use AoE's and such. In the begin they listened and wished us good luck. I hoped I could run with the peons, but -someone- started killing me. It's ironic that I was the first one to be killed by a player, while I was part of the event and helping the peons. I thought that the Alliance would start slaughtering the peons, but they didn't. I was killed by Horde first and then they attacked aswell.
I really hoped to join in the fun. Thanks for wrecking it.

If you were the low level human paladin, then you know exactly why you were being killed. You asked for it.

And your surprised getting killed as a low level human in Northrend by orcs? Or did I got this wrong?

And Munechi, where is Shadowpeon? Besides someone post some screenshots of the event or this -so-praised-awesome- movie of yours.

I wanted to participate in the event and said to Munechi that I'd come as a human as joke, but it seemed like a good idea for I could tell people not to use AoE's or stuff like that. Munechi notified the peons and said many, many times in general chat not to attack me.
So in a way, I was surprised to be killed ,and camped sometimes, by people (RPers) who were aware of the event, my participation in it and who were asked not to kill me.

Some of us from Warsong Blades were there, on request, to fight people ganking the peons.

You were killed for one reason, and one reason only. You know exactly what that is. You chose to come along with a character name that flaunted disrespect to our guild founder. If you want to be a disrespectful git, fine. Then you get treated like one. Self inflicted, no mercy.

It was a joke. I know it was not the wisest thing to do, but it was just a joke. In return I get ganked over and over again. Guess what. I couldn't change the name anymore.
