So yeah, alot of people might be aware of it hopefully, King Varian is an arsehole and we're going to kick his teeth in.

The event will be very chaotic, but can be loads of fun, the theory is simple:

The siege will consist of 3 forces;

The Horde Aligned guilds, such as the House of Sylvanas etc.

The Bloodsail Blackhands and Vypra and her mercenaries.

And the alliance sided guilds ( in terms of game mechanics ) such as the Salty Tide Privateers and the Scourge Legions.

The time and place of the event will be 11 September ( friday ) at 20.00

The tactics of the event will be somewhat complicated, but easy to do;

The Horde aligned guilds will make a frontal assault upon the gate, you will have to fight both Alliance defenders and OOCtards, we'll need someone to take control over this group too, somekind of general I guess..in any case, you'll have to keep a good solid core, consisting of a good number of 80s to ensure you will not be overrun with OOCtards, you will slowly but steadily fight your way towards the bridge ( where that general fellow is ) and maintain position there, killing anything that looks Alliance.

The Bloodsail Blackhands+Vypra's Gang will attack from the docks, killing all the guards for us and what not, you will have only a few people, and even less 80s, so you will also have to keep a good solid core, you'll arrive from the Darkshore boat heading to Stormwind, so 20 minutes before the event you'll get on the ship and as soon as you arrive you clear the path for the STP and what not.

The STP and co will mostly be doing diplomacy and IC actions such as firing cannons on the city etc, once The BSB+Vypra's gang have cleared the docks, we'll get on the Bloodshard ( which will be the stationed ship there ), have some emote battles with those that want to and slowly make our ways towards the gates leading to Stormwind from the harbour, there we will also hold our position.

The tactics however, will change rapidly during the battle, but as long as we can keep the defender's attention split up, we'll be able to beat them.

Our main objective will not be to raze stormwind however, we will simply occupy the areas and draw the Council out, thats where the STP and what not will attempt to do a little bit of diplomacy, we will demand the following things:

For the council to either 1.
Resign.

Or 2.
To allow us to appoint 4 ( One for the STP and the BSB, a spot shared by the Scourge Legions and other Scourge-y guilds, a spot for Vypra and a spot for an elected Horde representative ) individuals who will have ultimate control over the council's decisions, they will be able to reject every single idea the council comes up with.

Due to the situation they will be in, well..they wont have alot of choice there

The defending forces will consist of:

The Stormwind Militia

The Dawnlight Society

OOCtards

Random Roleplayers

Additional information:

The Scourge aligned people attending will be under disquise as random Mercenary Necromancers as always.

As for the defenders, we will expect about 50 RPers in total and a large number of OOCtards, but nothing a good solid core cant handle.

It looks like we are going to need as much help as we can get so if you want to come as mercenaries then whisper either me or Vypra, as for the matter of people coming OOC on our side I am not too bothered myself as long as they don't ooc in /s e or y and listen when to attack and when not it will pretty much be like a normal raid for them.

Of course they will have to be told not to attack the Alliance fighting with us and have a little patience for RP when we are not fighting.

All in all this will be a great event if we have even numbers on both sides!

I should be available for this. I'd probably fit best in Vyp's mercs.

Could of scomments:

1 - As a DK I can help a group run on water (just like Vyp as a shammy) so would an attack from Westfall (having gotten there from Grom'gol) by running along the costal waters be an option (and my personal favourite, as it won't have the world defence warning of "Auberdine is under attack").

2 - I think this is an event that loads could be interested in doing. Do you have sny restrictions on who and how many can join?

Shame we aren't going to take on Varian, as he's the only boss I have left to kill, but hey ho, should be fun!

This event is finally up after month long IC preparations, the more the marrier there is no restrictions at people who want to attend as long they don't object the from Solanar mentioned rules.

Any level is welcome but keep in mind its a PvP event and therefore you need to take in consideration to get killed. It's not 100% clear if we use the ship from Auberdine or the idea which Gurfang proposed. This will be decided later, in any way this event will be massive and we hope to get as many people as possible for it.

On the "Don't attack the STD's" side of things, how many will there be?

Probably around 10 to 15 STP's and a bunch of gay cultists which we sadly won't kill the same day. But best would be Néc answers that one.

So if I understand well, four forces - the Horde, the pirates, the Scourge cultists, and the mercenaries - ally to defeat Stormwind?
