And so it begins (RP'er raid group)

Right, I'm setting up a raid group for WotLK - I want to see end game before we get into a last minute thing like last time, and allthough it was fun, it was too short for my taste. My vision is as follows:
We will raid twice a week at least, and will be a progression group, so be prepared for wipes, and plan accordingly.
Raids will generally start at about 20h30 server time, which means be online at 20h00

This thread will be for signups, and any and all rp'ers are welcome. The raids will last four hours, and signups will be selected based on what's needed, and gear. ie, it wouldn't make sense to bring a freshly dinged 80 to the equivalent of ssc when the rest of the group has spent a month or more on working to progress.

I'm hoping the first raid will be within two or three weeks of WotLK's release, and we'll start with 25 man content as soon as we get the people.

Toss me a mail or a /w in game for signups, alternatively post here. Please remember to specify what spec you are, and whether you're willing to respec to suit what we're short on (Provided you have the gear)

Requirements:
Ventrilo ( Don't need a mic, just must be able to hear us)
Sense of humor.
The ability to not stress over wipes, this is a casual thing, and is meant to be fun.

The thing I feel I have to stress to you Chow is I am afraid alot of people are not going to be geared for naxx any time soon. Until we get some level 80 healers and grind some gear, which IMO is going to take a few weeks at best, perhaps we should focus in running heroic runs first then once we are ready go into Naxx.

Short version:
Wait until after new year, don't feel we are ready yet.

If people are up for it, what's stopping us from taking a stab or two at Naxx? We may not get very far, but we have plenty skilled players, and to be honest, the worst case scenario is that we pay some repair bills.

If we're all up for it, there's nothing stopping us from going this weekend to see how far we can go.

Meh...sign me up as the tank...one thing though.

Where did we get all these 80s from?

Not everyone is 80 allready, but we have two 80 tanks, we will have at least three healers, and I'm pretty sure we can pull five dps.

As soon as Lyrann'es at 80, I'll start trying to improve her healing gear, which I've been doing only incrementally so far.

well I dont have huge amounts of DPS to offer in comparison to others but..

Primarily you could generally count on me to go if you cant find anyone else, Krohlm is also my new in game priority, I need to get him to 80 and start a massively massive honor grind. Torvek has 70k odd honor but Krohlm has about...15?

You didn't mention what time you will be starting when you do runs?

I wouldn't mind to join on occassion if you have a spare slot (DPS on Vex, most likely as healer on Lothor when I get him to 80), but my usual issue is that I don't really have chance to be online before 8pm server, even later if I have a lot of work on.

Besides for the moment, I am working on getting my eng maxed and building a couple of hogs.

Well, currently I'm hitcapped as Ret, and my gear is alrighty-ish, I'm afraid I've moved away from the mainspec ret I clung to all the way through TBC.
My tanking gear is decent but I need a -lot- of work for it to be raidworthy.
I'm now mainspec Holy, and happily geared to heal any raid in the current content, as I've been grinding my rear end off to work on gear.
You can always count me in if you've the space raidwise.

Ello.. Soon I will be done with my exam and then I can really start to get the gear I need to get be def capepd at 540.

Hopefully I can get 540 relatively quickly and start doing heroics to gear up for Naxx.

Heroic priorities for me is Caverns of time for the shield and..uhm..is..it.. damnit! the tanking sword.. cant remember which one its in..

Quinneh, Utgarde Pinnacle hc drops your sword. I'll be up for it anytime as long as I'm not saved.

Mght be alittle on the late side and you have alot of DPS lined up already but I'd put Al's name down. Hit capped on main hand/special strikes, expertise capped for strikes from behind, combat (daggers) spec.

Also, as i see there are not too many tanks here around, would suggest you speak to Unx(Tauren deathknight tank from guild) and Makhail(Belf Paladin tank also from guild). I've started to lvl my dear Ranroad(lvl 73 tauren druid - tank) and she will be avaliable for tanking when she hits 80 and gears up abit. Will announce it tho when she does

will eventually get my priest up to 80, then it will be able to heal or dps
