| lol, Vex spent all last night trying to get his UI sorted so i think its going to be a few days b4 he can give you a full assessment. personally, i'm loving the acheivements thing. Elem Shammy has gone back to being super-squishy in pvp again but i thunderstorm and i lived with being sqiushy b4 so on balance its ok by me not overly impressed with the barber shop. then again, i had no pressing desire to change Vyp's hair anyway Um, what else....Oh, i now have a -lot- more space in my bags for not having to carry around mount and pet stuff yippee!!! | |

| I absolutely love it! Quints DPS is nearly trippled and I can easily tank loads of mobs without loosing aggro. I can do dailies now in third the time it took me before. I can actually kill people in PVP now! Actually.. the only thing that might be negative is that tanking now has probably become too easy (TPS is insane!!!!!) and might grow boring? NOt sure yet... But overall.. I am a very happy bunny! | |

I tried the updates version of X-pec, bartender, fubar, WIM and some others, but they did not work perfectly at all so I think some more updates are needed before they work as intended..

| I just tried some new ones cos my UI was in need of an update anyway.
Bartender 4 is working fine for me. I just need some decent skins for the buttons.
Can't decide where to put all my unit frames atm either.
As for the patch seems interesting. LikeVyp said though, not rushing just taking my time to set up a nice UI before I do anything.
Though I did stand in TB dotting all the allies that went past me last night... and still blew a loladin up with UA.

For PvP, I am not convinced any of the warlock 51 pointers are good enough: -- Haunt has a cooldown, but with all the other Affliction dots it's going to be hard casting and getting them all up (Haunt and UA need cast times) before they need refreshing again. Pretty sure the class designer admitted it might be a bit 'bloated' and will be tuned down (e.g. Haunt might refresh corruption or something) -- Meta is good vs melee, but is on cooldown and very susceptible to Pally fear, Pally Exorcism, Warlock Banish and Enslave (!) -- Chaos Bolt is just a 'meh' nuke We shall see, but on 80 beta the DK and Pally rule. Hoping to test mage shortly.

| Well... I felt like the pretty boy at a prison for males who always drops the soap on my Warlock ... tho Demonform is kinda cool. And then on my ret Paladin I felt like a God. I leveled 62-64 in 4 hours because I literally was 3-shotting mobs of my level. INSANE. As for the UI problems, there were 3.0 versions for about all of mine, except Necrosis which is being worked on. I had to replace my bar addon tho as Bongos stopped being worked on. But I love my new UI a lot more, the red orb is where Necrosis is coming: http://img401.imageshack.us/my.php?image=myfinaluiql2.jpg | |

| I felt a bit puzzled, really. The lag during wednesday evening didnt help at all to make up for it. There are so many changes at the same time; the UI, the talents, graphical effects AND graphical-overall-changes (mobs, npcs, myself and so on).
Last night I didnt even bother to login at all, so for 2 nights in a row I didnt do a single daily. Tonight Im going out for dinner IRL so I would be suprised if I have much time now either. Something I shouldnt add: maybe its a good time to finally end the subscription...

| On the whole, I've been mostly irritated and so far unimpressed by the Patch.
On the positive side it's nice that pets and mounts no longer occupy valuable bag space, and it makes sense that a whistle need not be stuffed into a backpack or bag.
The new Glyphs are not really much different to enchantments, as far as I can see. Except that Zanick now needs to carry around a folded piece of vellum with some symbols inscribed on it. I see no reason why a rogue would have a spellbook. But the price of herbs has gone up, at least temporarily, so herbalists can make more money.
The Achievements system may turn out to be great, but so far the biggest impact I have seen is cluttering up the screen with more announcements (there must be a way to turn these off, surely). And it has encouraged people to go riding around out-of-the-way places just so they can complete the exploration achievements, even though there is no IC reason for them to do that.
Rogue talents have been ripped apart and put back together again. I can't tell yet if it's better or worse overall.
However, Blizzard has committed several cardinal sins. I no longer need to use Thieves Tools to do lock-picking etc and I don't need to use Flash Powder in order to Vanish. Why? Worse still, I cannot make poisons any more, and the ones that the vendor sells are not the same (and probably not as good). From an in-character point of view, this is the sort of sudden-change-that-makes-no-sense that really annoys me. It seems like excessive tinkering that cannot be justified by game-balance arguments.

| I think I speak for a lot of hunters when I say "Whee!!!", and I think I speak for just about as many when I say "QQQQQQQQQQ" Now, I'm not one to get out my warlock keyboard, and bash those multiple q's until the cows come home, but honestly.. Hunters were bad enough for pvp, and blizz saw fit to make us -worse-? Fine, battlegrounds we can still do fairly well in, but the place where you can get real pvp gear (arenas) is now just a matter of re creating our teams every week, and losing a quick ten matches so we can get points.
That said, for pve we are -awesome-, I jumped from pulling 1600 dps, and still having to watch my mana and use pots, to 2400 easily, and I am mana immune for as long as I can keep shooting. We actually have an AoE ability that's worth using, and our pets aren't instagibbable by elites.
This is the area of the game I'm more fond of, and therefore I am more then equally happy with the patch.
