| The Silent Eye is in its essence a scouting guild. It has been formed to serve the horde in the area of seeking out the enemy, to gain information for a larger force. It aims to promote stealthy reconnaissance, small target elimination and harrying the enemy. Reputation is critically important to the eye, because it is young, it has much to prove to the leaders of the horde, and other guilds it aims to serve. Failure here would mean the end of the eye for lack of business. There are many opportunities to further one's skills, with training being organised in most areas that are required to successfully work unseen in the wilds. We are open to all races, and any background will be given due consideration, including those that have limited or no scouting experience. Headquarters is based in a house outside Silvermoon City, and permission has been granted to use the ship at the anchorage should it be required. For further information please either pm me, or seek Kaylima in game, alternatively visit http://silenteye.forumakers.com/forum.htmComments, questions, ideas, and suggestions are all welcome | |

| Hey All,
I'm going to try again at getting this guild off the ground. It exists and I have several plot lines ready to go with. Everything is in place but one thing. I don't have any members, bar one loyal alt! Therefore, I'm re starting my recruitment campaign, but I need some ideas...what gets people interested in a guild? Random ads don't seem to do it.

| I can only share my own experience in leading a guild, how successful I leave to the community to judge.
However you might wanna try with small (as for starters) but constant Role Play events around the guild and its theme. Numbers are naturally what makes a guild a guild and RP enjoyable in groups but sometimes a One Man (girl) Army is more effective.
As re-reading the guild theme you might wanna start making connections with characters from the community who might help you out. No doubt you're organization will profit having a good standing with the Orcish Elite the Warsong Blades, try venture into the forsaken realm and persue the House of Sylvanas to give you funds for a mission. Venture to the Extreme Anglers for a more un-orthodox way of dealing with things, reagents you need but cannot be supplied by everyone. Gather some mercenaries from the shores of Stranglethorn Vale and start a campaign! Or enter the jungle and try to find those who praise the Zandalar Tribe to gain their trust (and later) their blessings in upcoming missions!
RP attracts RP, is what I try to say. Once you are familiar to the community and they to you it will be more easy to gain like minded who shall follow your command and join the guild. Regular posting of RP related stuff, such as stories or plot developements on forums will make you and your guild tag wider known as well.
And of course, you can always ask a fellow reporter to help you advertise your RP thru RP for more RP. (if that even made any sense!)
