Salutations Broken Axe,
I hope this message finds you in good health as I’ve been noticed about the current situation on the Island and the attacks. Be aware that training here in the cape of Stranglethorn Vale is running at its full potential; however I cannot afford sending any troops as reinforcements back to you.

We’ve encountered in these past months resistance from the human Kingdoms, the native trolls tribes and dwarven regiments in smaller missions around the land they call Khaz Modan.

Let me tell you, as someone who has been working and fighting shoulder to shoulder in countless operations on the smaller Isles in the South Seas, I can imagine your concerns and the reason to send me the “Baron” here but he can do just as much harm as there.

Whether or not you split up the Redclaw Clan riots are unavoidable, we both know that the shipment of gold doubloons are the last and will run out soon enough once given to the mercenaries.

My advice is, gather the remaining fighters from your days in service of the Trade Princess and barricade as best as you can, we’ve managed to catch one of the remaining Bloodsail Blackhands Captains, Solanar Everstride, and are very close to finally get our hands on the scalawag called Grogda. But beware, the Kings Hate is out there, and the pirate attacks you report just confirm they gather new strength…

Do not rely on any Redclaw members or remaining Bloodtusks, those who are on the Island have their own intentions and do not think for your or my good. Take Ockham and tell him to prepare a escape path, just in case…

What I write now remains between us, I try to keep the local mercenaries occupied, they shouldn’t know about the threat from within, and if there are chances I will try to draw some of them on our side.
Remain vigilant friend, but keep in mind if you lose the fights there, I shall not risk to come back as reinforcements.

He stopped writing, taking a look at it and reading it a couple of times over. Folding it he thought about the consequences and what was happening, did the others suspected that the Inland branch was not going to succeed in its primary mission? Sealed with red wax and the symbol of the crown and crossbones he made sure to hide it well. Jahraka would send it tomorrow via a parrot, maybe in a week it would arrive…maybe more?

What should happen? Only time would tell…
