We have a new TDL..

ladies and gents, it has happened again.
We have a new "The dark lady", this time in the from of Soldiers of Madism, lead by Yinroh.

They whispered one of HoS´ neophytes yesterday, that they will take over the undercity tonight, and they did... try.
A few of them walked up to me and Crell, surrounded us and claimed we are "arrested" and they are taking over the Undercity.
After an hour (atleast) we finaly managed to get rid of them, but it seems they are serious about this whole idea.

So please try to humor them if you see them round UC, I would hate this turning into a war like with TDL before...

They need to be told: Madism is not a word.

Ah, so my old 'freind' Yinroh has finally made his move eh?

those who do not remember this lovely chap from my days of running the Broken Keel may be interested to know that Yinroh also 'assassinated' the ruler of booty bay and got pretty much the whole of the Steamwheedle cartel under his sway...and he was one of the funny fellows that repeatedly 'blew up' the Broken Keel as he could do whatever he wanted in ratchet after that apparently...

For trying to point out the obvious flaws in this, i was called an elitist.


I think i still have the rapscallion on ignore to this day.

Yes, I wish that was the worst thing. But lets just say Yinroh has been reported by the Thunderscar clan, not just for being a fucking terrible bad role-player but for trying to force atrocious (Bannable) "Role-play" on others, it isn't my place to mention the specifics of what he did but it upset quite a few people.

The best thing we can do is ignore Yinroh, maybe suggest he fucks off the server and starts fresh somewhere else, but I do not see him heeding our advice.

Knew he was back but hoped he gave up RP.

After he took over Silvermoon I hoped he stopped conquering capitals. He was also kicked form BsB for trying cybor with another forsaken....eeewww, well, some folks got a reputation.

But I managed to play it nicely yesterday.. I persuaded Furacore I need a letter, written and signed by Sylvanas, with 3 copies for my officers, before I can officialy step down and be arrested in peace. He actualy believed it. I have screencaps of the whole thing.. was kinda funny to see him lost like that xD

Something to bear in mind when dealing with Yinroh.

He's not a happy person, and he's not very old either. I remember the "discussions" he had with LFRP months ago, where he insisted that his type of RP was a totally okay alternative to actual RP.

I took him aside in whispers to try and get a feel for why he was so aggressive and so unyielding with his approach to dealing with other people. It was possibly the most upsetting thing to ever happen to me in game. He's so knotted up inside, so ready to lash out at anyone and everyone and so determined to be on top of everyone else that I was left utterly drained by the experience.

And that was strange as well. The mere fact that I was using measured, calm language made him at first think I was on his side. He got quite confused when I made clear just how offensive he'd been to the people on LFRP who were my friends. He found it hard to cope with the idea that the people he was fighting with were likeable people - the realisation that we were a friendly community and he was the outsider was not a pleasant one, I think.

Afterwards he retreated, at first claiming that he was part of a far wider RP community and trying to rally them around him. When this didn't happen he faded away. So it's a shame he's come back with pretty much the same arsenal of antisocial power-RP.

But yeah, the most important thing to remember when dealing with him is not to become emotionally involved. He's got more emotion bottled up inside him than anyone else I've ever come into contact with. Smile, say no thankyou, and move away from him. Becoming his enemy will only make him more aggressive and more keen cause trouble. And please remember: he's a human being like the rest of us, but young and emotionally fragile. Bullying him is that absolute worst thing you can do.

Oh poor thing. I think I´ll go and cry now.
Although all of your points might be perfectly valid, I´m not going to be friendly or polite to someone who acts like an agressive fucktard to me or the people I know.

I hope i'm too off the mark when i say that, most of the time, i'm a very tolerant person when it comes to rp styles. I'll shrug off a lot that others can get a bit irritated by...however, when it comes to people like Yinroh, i have only this advice to give:

We're all people, we all have issues, we all deal with them. Anyone who inflicts them on the people around them like Yinroh does needs a slap.

It seems we also have a The Dark Lady guild on the Alliance side.. I happend to join one of their members in a random hc.

I remember when I met Yinroh at the keel. He tried to hire Katalmach to hunt down tauren to turn into burgers. He's been on my ignore ever since.

He did, though I'm fairly sure he's rolling with a new name these days.

I remember a moment when Julie was on her break and he logged into lfrp to gloat about RP supposedly being better on the server once she'd gone (implying of course that she was somehow holding it back O.o).
Needless to say, he was shot down by most of us not only thinking it a truly stupid thing to say, but also that he had the gall to make any such statement about someone most, if not all, of the RP community -like- in a channel she frequented (and I seem to recall actually created on SSL) and actually think he'd be listened to.
I would suggest he has something like Asperger's, as I know from my own experiences of it and what I know from others that in extreme cases, his lack of compromise and feeling so aggressive could fit a more severe form. But truthfully, even if he does have such a condition, he's still an unpleasent person and could do well to learn to respect others.


Note: though I have Asperger's, I'm fortunate in that it doesn't show itself in me being a wholly selfish so-and-so, but rather more in how I communicate (as many may well have noticed)

i didn't create lfrp though i was one of the first few people to join it and then encourage others to do so.

As for Yin's comments about me, well, that's about what i'd expect from him

Anyway, it seems SoM have set up a bar night in silvermoon at the inn in murder row. It's on every monday and wednesday i beleive. from 8server. .just so you know...

Atleast they´re not trying to take ovec UC anymore. They can have a bar whereever they want, as long as it´s nowhere near me X_X

I feel we shouldn't shoot the bar down straight away, while a Silvermoon bar run by SoM isn't exactly the most exciting prospect there may actually be some people there who are new to the realm and interested in RP, but have just been suckered into the guild and have no idea about its reputation. Maybe a few people showing up every now and then may convince them to stay long enough to join a decent guild...

My point was more that he aimed to insult you in front of your friends - an act only possible from the remote safety of the internet. It also pretty much sums up what type of person he is. He didn't last long in the channel anyway, because we all love you

I wonder if when we (collectively) say "we love you", Julie sees a bunch of salivating nutters staring down the computer screen with unblinking red-rimmed eyes, trying to join her FB group, friends' list and find out her home address? *
