I just didn't understand much of your post or where it came from. The picture was merely a joke, don't take it seriously by all means. My post came out of the fact I don't enjoy watching people create malformed defaming comments, that's all. That and Ryleen's art is quite good for me not to lay my eyes on it and not say something.

'Tis a simple counter-argument, is it not? Goes behind that when it's meant to hurt. But can you please leave it aside ? 't was Ryleen this topic was all about. @Avi: Morrigan is a disappointment. Managed to get laid with Zev more times than with her.

BUY RYLEEN'S ART! That is all. It's exactly that kind of attitude that made me write what I did. You assume I was being a righteous saviour when I was merely trying to criticise your lack of respect. And I believe DD needs defence less than I do, she can take care of herself. As for the assumptions, whatever critic I did build was based on what I read, how is that an assumption if not a built in fact based on my studies ? Assumptions are very naughty things. I believe there's a book assuming the world was created in seven days isn't it ? I believe it's a best-seller too. As for the white dove, I don't like white chocolate. Finally regarding your sticker, if I feel like sharing a bit more about me, I will take the first step and even provide you an RSS feed of updates would you wish so. But as for now I'm happy knowing those in #LFRP don't require brief presentations, I'll only do so upon request. -Assuming- you're from the ally side of this world, I'll be willing to write a brief paragraph regarding your stickup paper if you wish so. Add-upon: - Quote :

I've added your MSN, should you wish to continue this argument.

| I feel sorry that the original author of the thread made it in Random Carp, maybe moving it and clearing it from the off topic posts is a solution. I think I've told Ryleen myself before that she can draw good, if not let me tell it now. You draw really good My current finances dont allow me any luxury's like these, although I always wanted a Shadowtroll that resembles more then a shadow of a troll (thats how I draw it). I'll come back to you once the circumstances change. | |

| The thread is in Random Carp because there is no other subforum more suited for it, so I will have to live with the off topic arguments. (At least it keeps the thread bumped, eh? ) As for the argument itself.. I kinda agree with Lion. Stop looking for fights. Especially you, Leaf. This is the second time in a very short period of time I see you involved in derailing a thread with off topic arguing. I'm not saying it's your fault, but maybe it's time you stop and reconsider your posts an extra time before pressing 'send'? You don't want to make a habit out of this, do you? | |

| Oh come on, Awryder started this one, not Leaf. Daid misinterpreted Leaf's first post by thinking he was somehow quoting her.
He was more reffering to a general attitude among people, an attitude I myself have seen many times, and I do not nessescarily mean just here, just as Leaf didn't mean nessescarily just here.
He wasn't out to start a fight as far as I can see. People just get their knickers in a twist way too fast sometimes on this forum. And this thread never did really derail, because the discussion was smack on -topic anyways and it wasn't much to derail from anyways.
Misunderstandings happen, no need to go QQ over it. Man the fuck up.

| I won't start arguing about what I said, as it will only make the problem worse. But seriously, what's with all the arguing over stuff in WaL lately? Everyone needs to cheer up a little and remember that rest of the people in here are your friends, not just random nameless internet entities with opposing opinions to yours. (And yes, I meant everyone. I know I do mistakes as well.) | |

But if we're your friends, why do you ask money fr... nah, just kidding! I agree with that, this arguing about everything and de-railing all threads because of it is crazy. So, how's the nude of Yrjial going?

| To avoid further derailing, anyone wishing to skip a bit of explaining and blaha (which I however tried to keep at a very low derailing level) can go to the end of this post. - Ryleen wrote:

Not looking. I always read my posts a few times before sending them, what I can't do is make other people do the same before pressing 'reply'. As for habit, well... sadly, if people can't take my opinion without me plastering a few "it's just my opinion, don't shoot me :D" on it, then it will keep happening. But, yeah... I'll see what I can do to make my posts less serious/aggressive without turning into this: When I'm more like: ;P However, if I basically got called an asshole with attitude problems because I tried to make a point that wasn't addressed towards/against anyone here, which I also explained in a second post, you'll have to forgive me for not taking it lightly. That said, I'm not trying to be a martyr or act innocent in this case, just trying to avoid the all too usual scape goat thinking. Awryder, you're appearing dangerously pretentious and I'm not interested in continuing anything as it's retarded that it even started. I can't stop you from addin me on MSN since I clearly have it visible here, but don't bring it up with me there. It's over as far as I'm concerned. Daidrax, as I said in my previous post, I didn't mean to attack you with my earlier statement. Nor did I want to say that you had that attitude. It simply reminded me of it. Last but not least; Ryleen, good luck finding people that are willing to pay for your craftmanship, you deserve it. Too bad many WoW players are students (read: poor). I assume you have a list of the prices up on DA and/or other art communities? Or did you want to start out with a more familiar crowd at first perhaps? Why do my posts get so... texty? Sadfaise.

| I'm sorry if you felt attacked, Leaf. I was merely observing that I've seen you take part in these arguments more than once recently, but in no way did I wish to imply you started them. I should've expressed it so that it was aimed not only at you but at the others as well, sorry.
Edit: Oh, and to answer your question: No, this is the only place so far. I wanted to give it a try first. Once I put it up on dA I'll have start spending time each day on getting myself seen and all that, right now I don't have enough nor the right people following me there.

| Yes, they did. And I believe the topic of the article was to question where Yrjial's baby really came from, seeing how Alaster is undead and unlikely to be able to procreate. The picture wasn't specifically of her, though, I believe it was just some light haired troll picked for her resemblance to Yrjial. | |

| I work pretty high up at a large ISP - Doing network admin support.
Does this mean that I give out free tech support? Well.. Sometimes, but only when I am doing nothing, and it's totally on my terms whether I invest any real amount of time on it.
What Ryleen is asking money for, is the ability to have exactly what you want, and have it guaranteed to be to your liking. She's given art away as gifts before, but the person recieveing it had no say in what would be in the painting, and I guess that's the difference. If she feels like doing it for free, she'll offer it. BUT if you want to ask her for something, then it's up to her whether she charges.
