AA facepalm moments

I lolled hard reading this profile:

I didn´t lol, but it did make me facepalm xD

I paused and /headdesk when I read "A 30 year old fit warlock"
I paused again and /facepalm when I read "Has various scars and a glowing one hidden in his eyebrow in the shape of a Y. (this Y is like a code telling him he's a prince of somewhere but he doesn't know that ^^ )"
I stopped when I saw "Stefazar was walking with his uncle in Elywnn when a pod came down. The militia chased some weird aliens."

Why do people from Goldshire ever get allowed to leave?

Conserning the warlock - it was bit of lol yes.

What was most interesting was seeing that website again. A real life freind and former colleague of mine is one of the core creators of the Argent Archives, think they made it as a project for their Uni study in Canada at aswell. Nice way of combining fun and schoolwork eh?

My first wow Character was made in his earlier RP guild on Argent Dawn named "Stormwind City Watch" (or something along those lines...soon 5 years ago) - but its nice to see the AA come this far. This product is alot more finished than the early-ideas and test sites i last saw

Good memories from SCW - patrolling the streets of Stormwind with my grumpy redbeard dwarf together with a very "for light, glory and justice" hardcase paladin named "Justicator" - together we served alot of "hard justice" and had long debates with the rather esentric leader - Nath -night elf whith his one ear blown off because one random dude ran into their HQ and threw a dynamite at them in RP (Yes, they are that hardcore RPers). Leader later being thrown out of the force under suspicion of corruption, later making a renegade outlaw group "the eyes" to take revenge on the SCW...RP drama at its best. Man, this brought back alot of memories

Anywho...Any webdesigners and advertising students on SSL up to make anything like this? *wink*

I must say, since i first laid eyes on the AA, i wanted to create something similar for SSL, but my utter lack of knowledge and slight techno-fear have always prevented it from happening...

However, Vex is now looking into it and it -may- be possible for it to finally get going.


Don't hold your collective breath though ppl...it will take a lot of work and unless we can get a few of you on board to help out when we're ready to go, it won't be possible.

I actually mailed the webmaster 2 times, never got a reply

They forgot to update it with the latest news:

"Discovered that the Y on his head is a secret sign of the Janitor clan. Yes, he was adopted like all the great princes of adventure ... except in his case, he wasn't a prince in disguise, but a janitor. Now to be found cleaning out the latrines with a toothbrush in the Dwarven quarter of Stormwind. Not the most popular job after the 10-Pints-And-A-Curry-Nights held once a month ..."
